my mother is a Native American, In fact , she is a Pueblo Indian from Taos Reservation , for those who does not know this is one of the biggest Tribes as well ancient tribe in the USA. Having said this ,I found this very offensive, but also without any foundation telling that African were the ancestors of Native American. So, if Native Americans happened to be the ancestors of Native Americans so that Native Americans will have a widespread of African blood , I think if we do a DNA test on Native American this is not more than myth, in fact I do have a DNA test and I do not have any African blood in my body, I do no deny that they will be some African American that had intermarried but these are sporadic cases. In Addition, if this is true ,many of the legacies that contribute to world cuisine such as corn , cacao, avocados ,tomatoes, potatoes among many legacies are native to the New World ! ,these products became know all over the world after the Spanish Galleons took them back to Europe. So, my question is if these is true ,how come these exotic products were unknown in Europe when European already traded with African by bringing exotic products from Africa. Moreover, neither of the languages developed from Native American had roots in Africa, I can point out more reasons that all these comments do not have any foundation at all just to portray some unrealistic facts. I would say this if there is a group here in the USA, that have inherited not only Native American blood but also traditions and cultural practices among them because the higher level of intermarried that took place as well historical events. In fact ,If we do take DNA tests among Hispanics they tend to have a or percentage Native American blood based on their DNA , the opposite of African American who happened to have predominantly African blood based on DNA tests ,however, no trace of Native American blood. it is almost un existence in the African American Community Therefore ,get real !

This city being described is of Tenochtitlan, what would eventually become Mexico City today. What also makes no since is why would the first account of this large of a city be recorded by an English person in the 1700s when the land was owned and colonized by Spain and later Mexico from 1542 until 1848. Spain was known to be very exploitative of the land they conquered, they would have surely made an effort to at least contact these people. In addition, a number of large scale expeditions were sent to find cities just like this across North America. Had one in cali existed the Spanish would have found it and plundered it. Its sad that some black people feel the need to go across a literal ocean to people and places to feel proud of their heritage. Africa itself is full of an almost infinite number of historical accurate and wonderful empires, leaders, art, culture, language. etc. These topics don't get enough attention and care that they deserve and its sad. Stop wasting time creating fantasies to make the history of black people proud and focus on the actual real people that existed.
