I know what you mean. I start shaking inside and the tears start pouring down my face. This song touches me down deep inside--I feel pain and joy. I'm a 68 year old woman. I don't pretend to be "woke" but I hear someone calling my name

The Weekend is complaining the Grammys snubbed him. How do you explain Black Pumas. I'm just discovering them now because of the Grammys. He sounds entitled. Just because his album went to the charts, he thinks he is entitled a nomination. Many musicians get snubbed, most likely he did not have enough votes to be nominated. Black Pumas are amazing. Best wishes at the Grammys. You deserve to win.

When people say there’s no good music today, it really angers me that they’re pretending to be music fans when they very clearly don’t go looking for great music. There’s some phenomenal artists around today, they just don’t get mainstream airtime. Last year I discovered Black Pumas, The Teskey Brothers and The Hu, the latter may not be for everyone but my god I’m addicted to all three. Black Pumas never fail, my favourite band right now. Michael Kiwanuka takes favourite solo artist.

Thank you for this song. I don't really share things but my best buddy sammy lived 15 plus years and I knew the day would come to decide his last. I refused to take him to the vet because I could never sleep knowing I made the decision. So at 40 years old I made my mom and aunt do it. And after the waves of emotions from the day seeing him in pain and then not coherent from meds we gave him until the appointment I left before they took him to the vet. But as I was trying to eat my fast food that seemed to have no taste it smell I looked at the clock on radio when through my waterfalls I heard this song and realized at the same time that I was too late to go see him because I know he was confused and scared. This song whatever it's intension is tied to the most emotionally impacting part of my life. The lyrics worked for my feelings and it will forever be tied to the love I had for my little corgi mix . This song is the most important song to me now. I hate the waves of emotions but I brace against them and feel their crash on my back. Oh and I am color blind too actually ...
