I hate to say this as I'm a really huge BRMC fan but when it comes to acoustic solo sets, I think Robert's singing and guitar playing/writing is quite boring. His nasal voice is perfect for the big rock songs like Beat The Devil's Tattoo, Let The Day Begin, Stop, Weapon Of Choice and so on but on these smaller ballads it just comes off as whiny to me. Peter really is the one that shines in these more intimate moments. His voice is soothing, his guitar playing deliciously intricate and unique and his song structures are much more interesting, plus he plays the harmonica which brings so much to his songs. Fault Line, Devil's Waiting, The Toll and Grind My Bones are some of my favorite BRMC songs and yet they only feature Peter alone. They are just so bluesy and folksy, it's obvious he's the main driving force behind some of their best songs like Shuffle Your Feet and Ain't No Easy Way. I think Robert's strength resides in his bass riffs and his long high pitched notes on vocals, no one else sings like that. And shout out to Leah for being one hell of a drummer!

250frederic i hear you, but look up "not what you wanted acoustic" and pick the one with yellow spanish subs in the thumbnail. Its my personal favorite version, you may dig it.

Thanks! It's true that's it's good. I remember watching it a long time ago actually, I quite love this particular session. Still, melodically Peter's stuff rings more with me.
