And in one minute you wrote him better than the actual writers. As much as we love our saiyans they really don't ever face any consequences and are constantly bailed out throughout the story. Black and Zamasu was their chance to really put high stakes in the story but they ended up being just your run of the mill dragon ball villains.

Defeating the Saiyans cost them Goku, Yamcha, Piccolo, Tien, and Chiaotzu. Pretty heavy losses, but oops, Dragon Balls bailed them out. The Frieza Saga cost them an entire planet/race, Krillin and Vegeta. But of course, there are dragon balls. Android/Cell Saga comes around and Goku is dying of a heart virus only to be saved by Trunks, Making the whole virus story pointless other than to introduce Trunks, who btw is killed by Cell only to later be revived by the dragon balls. And we haven't even gotten to the Buu saga or the asspull extravaganza that is Super, and I'm not even mentioning the number of times the Senzu Beans have bailed them out. I could go on and on. And yeah, I get that it's part of the story, but it's hard for me to get invested when, at this point, you know everyone on the cast is going to survive or get bailed out of the consequences every time something goes wrong. @khyron2010

Tbh vegeta is the main one that doesn’t get punished for what he did, everyone lumps goku into the same category but goku has never taken over a planet and has in fact protected multiple whereas vegeta was actually taking over worlds and killing innocents. Don’t get me wrong I love vegetas development but he never really gets punished for what he did outside of dying and then goku who truly is innocent in all of the shit the saiyans did gets tarred with the same brush because of it

Goku isn't a complete saint either, although his problem is more stupidity than anything actually wicked like Vegeta. Goku exposed his son to horrific trauma during the Cell games because "he just knew" Gohan could beat Cell, He didn't kill Fat Buu as SSJ3 so he could let the new generation shine which of course led to the Earth being destroyed, and in Super he convinced Zeno to host the tournament of power which would've had most universes wiped out. All this undone by Dragon Balls, Senzu Beans, and "lmao I wasn't actually gonna erase the universes.@@joshuarobinson6011

1. Believable 2. Interesting power level introduction potential 3. Not too bad of writing, felt very translates to English level. Dub feels that same way, not a knock a compliment actually 4. I like the look, “true” sayain type of arc has been “done” kinda but at this type of angle I like it better 5. Introducing a new nobility to the prince vegeta and our hero goku while making them almost anti hero’s is such an amazing spin as I’ve seen some theory crafting on it before and enjoy your Ai manifested voice narration of it. Like many, I think this is the kind of writing that would make Dragon Ball worth watching again vs just going through fights and getting new forms of unimaginable scale. This gives depth to characters that we have been routing for for ages and I would love to follow the direction they go with it

Maybe this version, but normal Goku black's/zamasu ideology was really stupid. He had part of a point but then unintentionally dismantled their own point by showing their own hypocrisy. The second a mortal reaches the realm of the gods, he becomes so insecure of his position as a God, that his near immediate answer to the problem, is to eradicate/genocide all mortal life. If your that insecure about your own identity as a God, then maybe you were never fit to be one and have alot more in common with those supposedly evil/horrible mortals that you so despise. I'm sorry but normal Goku black/zamasu was a stupid and idiotic character. Half of his own philosophy didn't make any sense and he tricked/deluded himself into believing it. He is clearly in immense denial and is getting a huge high from denying the stupidity of his own philosophy because he felt like he proved them/the mortals wrong when he fused with himself. This guy is a real fan of going against/rejecting reality and not letting that decide his fate. Kinda like the beings he so despises. Goku black/zamasu was a massive hypocrite from the start, manipulating things to justify his own perspective/seeing things from his perspective. Actual Goku black was a shit character. But many of the different versions of him that fans have interpreted and created are both much better and interesting of a character than the original. They actually make his philosophy and perspective/mindset/viewpoints, especially as a god, make actual sense.

"Fixing"for him is really killing all mortals instead of doing his job of a God to guide them. Don't make me laugh. Black is right about sayains but he has no moral ground. Wherever he went he also caused destruction, death and despair. That's not what a God represents. To me both mortals and Gods are flawed. The Supreme Kai literally did nothing to stop Frizea or Sayains form there countess atrocities, even though he was much more stronger then them and Beerus The God of Destruction who destroys planet's because there civilization annoyed not because they were flawed, violent or uncivilized. God's are suppose to be like parents and guide to mortals who guide them in thier path or destroy them if need be. If they fail in that then no wonder mortals are so F'ed up.

And don't get me started on Zamasu. That self centered prick who things he towers above all for no reason other than that he born as God. Zamasu despised mortals but that was not the main reason why he started with the zero mortals plan, instead it was because a mortal was stronger then him which hurt his ego. Not state he was such a hypocrite. He despised mortal yet he used a mortals body to his bidding. He hated that mortals messed with time but again himself traveled to another timeline. And as for goku black, he himself brought destruction to everywhere he went. He talks about how the sayains crave strength but not how he himself craved strength by traveling to multiple different timelines and killing different gokus
