Black Series Campers makes a great little Overlanding travel trailer with the HQ17 floorplan. This offroad travel trailer offers a good amount of outdoor storage, sleeps 5, and is very capable when you get out and hit the trail. Great video! I have been waiting for someone to do a video on these as the are using them everyday. Like you said walkthroughs of empty campers are good, but it really helps to see how they function in "real world" situations. Thank you for showing us!

We have a 17 as well. I am going to head out and recess my microwave now as I have been thinking of what do do with it since it gets minimal use at best and the amount of room behind it is huge (ish). How did you secure yours back there??

It actually just sat in there fine but I would imagine some double-sided tape or potentially some l brackets would work just fine

How is the rig holding up? We looked at the HQ 19. I really like these rigs but looks like we are going with a small-ish Outdoors RV.

It's honestly holding up great. The original solar was a little weak for us considering we are full-time, but other than that we haven't had any problems

Of course we haven't had any issues other than the Solar being a little weak for us considering we are full-time. Also have a leaky water quick disconnect to the outdoor sink, that's it

Pretty sure the frame andbox are made overseas. Then they are assembled in the US.

@@AdventureEndeavor I did some research and it looks like most of it is done in China. Some final assembly in the U.S. I was thinking about possibly buying one. I think I ll hold off for now.

I wouldn't let that scare you. This trailer has been solid and we've really put it to the test. I wish more US manufactures built a quality rig like this.

We just looked at trailers yesterday. Every forrest river had broken panels, hinges and doors sitting on the lot brand new. Absolute junk. They had one used black series hq19 that looks like it was used hard and the cabinets were all perfectly aligned and functioning. Night and day different in quality.

They are built very well. We have had almost no issues of hard off-roading for the past 6 months
