Wish Temuera Morrison comes in as Rex in the Obi Wan Disney series and Rex is alive during Return of the jedi so he is around during Book Of Boba, I guess its time we get Rex in Live action

Great video, I agree, while TBB Capt Rex has lots of pros the original Captain Rex is such a classic that it's hard to beat, I have the original one on pre order, now I'm very excited to see it in person

The older one is a better figure, and the bad batch seems more like a one scene figure. He is the first one taken out of the case everytime I get to the store.

Overall the older fig is better, but the blue and silver weld lines on the new one seem preferable to me. I do like the mud/ grime effect on the new one, but they skipped most of the other paint apps. Only problems I have with the old one are: the helmet has flattened his nose. The head looks fantastic if a little small and the ankle joint is hindered if you want his feet pointing down. I'd like an update on the new Clone body.

Yeah, the BB Rex is the only one I have at the moment, I'd love to get the original Captain Rex, but I'm definitely not paying$100. I'm happy with my BB Rex, it's really good to have a Rex iny collection, finally. Great video. 👍

Man, it feels like yesterday watching your channel at around 500- 1000 subs. I'm really happy to see your channel grow. Regarding the review, I'll take the old red box Rex any day. It just looks more high quality. I heard from other reviews that TBB Rex has his shins reversed (left/right) which isn't noticeable. It seems like some of the newer figures lack paint apps like Rex's range finder and his half pauldron. I kind of love the new box but I don't like how the plastic window is a separate piece and I wish the side was straight instead of being slanted. I really hope we get a re-release of the original Rex asap.

I just bought this it's coming next weekend and I got the 2016 Walmart Exclusive and I'm pretty excited because captain rex is one of my favorite characters and the clone wars show is one of my favorite star wars shows/movies

Nice comparison. One note about the new captain Rex plastic. The raw white plastic itself is off white and for some reason among my collection,Nit jumps out and appears like when glow in the dark type plastic and appears a strange green under shaded lighting. Don’t know if I make sense.

The old helmet bends the nose on the figure and the pauldrons make the chin stick out on both. The new helmet is a bit larger. I wished the new one was on the new buck. We didn't even get the deluxe bix for the new one even tho its considered a deluxe. The new rex feels cheap. Both versions are also photo real in the eyes.

The 2018 Rex is an better figure, with the better photo-real faceprinting tech than the 2021 one which makes Rex look like he's sweating or waxy.

I might even get it for my self

They make those figures inaccurate on purpose so they can sell more accurate versions in the future
