Savage is correct! I ran this for a group of Agents who, once reaching Mustang, immediately went into the theatre, breaking into a back door. I punctuated their discovery of the giant effegy with the noise from outside that signalled the beginnings of the battle (people being rounded up and gunned down in the streets.) The battle became a siege as my players quickly fortified the theatre and held out. They'd already gotten the attention of the Director by asking the wrong questions regarding Innsmouth and the Handler's Guide says he has a particular rashness of thought regarding the Deep Ones so when the players called him up again for help and explained what was happening, he responded by pulling the appropriate strings for an air strike. The Agents then had to dash Resident Evil style to survive, two out of four died trying to escape. I agree, this scenario is top marks!

I just read this scenario and it is absolute nightmare fuel. If you've ever seen the horrific "white rabbit" scene from the anime Blood C, it's close to this in spirit. The Crazies, 28 Days Later, or the 2000s Dawn of the Dead all encapsulate it too. I've always said this would be my last D.G campaign if I ran it. This would be the one where you see just one one trillionth of what would happen if Dagon went all out on Earth. In your opinion do you think the ritual would work and it could attract Dagon's notice? I'd like to imagine just for a second, the moon becomes a giant eye, and gazes down upon the city, and anyone who looks up at it gets a horrific sanity hit.

With the mention of Kids on Bikes, I can’t help but think of setting up two groups, one playing the agents and one playing the group of kids and having decisions that each group made affect the other groups sessions. Might be difficult to pull off though
