The Noisia remix of Arrakis is now 10 years old! One of the greatest remixes to have come out in 2013! Everything from the introduction to the heavy hitting drop is just PERFECTION! This was ahead of its time! A true masterpiece!

I saw Noisia live at some NYE 2013/14 event and when they played this remix - I hadn't heard it before - I was rly disappointed because it felt like they messed up the perfection that is the BSE original. But once I listened to it a second time at home I was like "wtf was even wrong with me? this is done so fucking well" lol

Obviously the original Arrakis by Black Sun Empire is just as amazing as the remix. Pythius - Executor Noisia - Into Dust Noisia - Mantra Black Sun Empire & Pythius - Scarif Black Sun Empire - Eraser Teebee & Noisia - Moon Palace Mefjus - The Sirens Black Sun Empire - All is Lost Black Sun & Noisia - The Veil I'm not really sure if they are even similiar, but all of these tracks are building huge atmosphere through it's long intro and the drops are massive. Heavy but beautiful. Also as you can see there are pretty much only 3 artists on my list so definitely check them out.

Dont often play too many Neuro flavours in my sets, but i always make room for new BSE, Upbeats or Noisia. Consistently brilliant productions from these guys, and this remix is further proof of that. So filthy and raw, but still produced in a perfectly ''clean'' way. Absolutely essential.

My short review of this song: This is, without a single doubt, the best song Noisia has made themselves. Yes, I like Sunhammer more, but that is a collab with Amon Tobin, so it’s not completely their song. I love this song for several reasons. The song is in H Minor, my favourite pitch, the reeces are outstanding, but what stands out the most about this song are the fucking drums. They use a ride based loop for the more reece-based part of the first drop and changes it to a more brutal loop for the second part of that same drop. But the most genious thing is that they change it up for the second drop, and I can’t have enough of listening to that. It just sounds too damn epic. This is easily one of the 20 best drum & bass songs out there.

Personally I like the old one much better, first heard it in EVE's "No Other Destiny" trailer. Why does this one have so many more views than the old one? Just because this group is more popular and there are more youtube users than there were when the original was released?

Ts. D Although I liked this remix, there was an older one that Noisia played it, and the bass was much better in my opinion. It was much more obscure, and intense than the original one. It was on a concert in CZ. About your opinion, because of not being English (I speak a bit, as you can see), I didnt understood entirely what you said, but from what I understood, I totally agree with you.

Adrian Zwoliński i did some research, breakbeats can be a genre or an umbrella term for drums that don't typically follow the standard 4x4 beat, for example, dnb, dubstep, etc, but the genre called breakbeat is 140 bpm
