the genius of this channel (apart from Winters himself)...is the lack of fixed cameras. Moving in and around the battlefield is just so immersive, it puts you right in the game as if you were at the table prodding and poking around yourself...masterful.

That land-raider and it’s crew deserves a title. It’s a full blown character at this point.

I love how unique Sultans armies always are, and how excited he always is to talk you through what’s he got. Listening to other people’s armies and what they do, still one of my favourite parts of the hobby.

You are a bloody lucker with your 5`s and 6`s.. during this game I was so upset about this bloody land raider but then I saw how big momma soaked so much damage... so I returned to "winters you are a bloody lucker" :D Great game and I love to watch how you guys have so much fun playing this game!

Not sure if it came up but the Sword Bretheren's ability Vow Sworn Bladesmen also gives benefits to the the leaders in that unit. For example giving Helbrect damage 4 attacks.

Had to rewind and listen to the templar army list again as I switched off admiring just how bloody beautiful they are.

That was a great BatRep! Always happy to see a beautiful Templars army with such a fun list on the table! Just one nitpick: Helbrecht loses his +1 Strength and the crits on 5+ once his unit dies and he's on foot. He only has those abilities while leading a unit. Not that it would have made a difference at the end there, but just for future games!

Just FYI - When you use Overwatch, it can be BEFORE or after they move - so the brutalis moving away from the Tyrannofex could have been overwatched.

At 1:11:09 the Tyrannofex could have still overwatched the Brutalis Dreadnought. Overwatch can be used at the *start or end* of a Normal, Advance, Fall Back, or Charge move. Since the Tfex could see the Brutalis before it moved, as soon as it declares it is making a Normal move it can be shot at with overwatch.

I have those same ultramarine dice and I never get as many 6’s as Winters got here. He got more 6’s in single dice rolls than I’ve had in entire games sometimes.

This is definitely best game of 10th edition i have watched! From the point of view of loyal guy) It's just epic and in my thoughts just iconic - how marines should perform - overcoming the hordes! Final battle between Helbrect and warriors i imagine like in "Space Marine2" trailer but even much more glorious!)

btw, when sword brethren use their +1 damage or +1 attack ability, any leaders that are attached also get that effect. so helbrecht could get a 4 damage strike or 2 damage sweep, same with the emperors champion, and grimaldus would be damage 3.

The charge at 48 mins I believe that if you can get base to base you must, that means several of those guys that moved towards the objective should have been in base to base at the front of that pack of gaunts

That was an incredible come from behind on VPs. Crazy that it came to that. Looking at the end the nids were nearly tabled by quite a lot. It definitely could have gone better for the Templars if the FNPs on the mama weren't so crazy and the units on the Templar's right side could have actually done some work. What can nids do against such reckless hate?

Didnt screen the tyrranofexes, and focus fired the toughest enemy unit. Those tyrannofexes could have flattened the dreadnoughts and the scary shooting tank instead, then used termagants to choke up the land raider and cleaned up the rest of the table. The long line of units in a big firing line is a trap, it spreads you thin and makes you weak everywhere. A focused punch with screening units and counter attacks elsewhere let you leverage your strength while tying up theirs. Always easy to be a critic. Nice match!
