I first discovered Sisters of Mercy in my freshman year of high school, I had a poster of AFI from the Art of Drowning era and Davey was wearing a SOM shirt and so as was often the case back then I went on the hunt to find the music that had inspired my favorite musicians. The very first song I heard by SOM was the ‘92 version of ‘Temple of Love’ and I became obsessed with their entire catalog. We’ve talked about doing a BVB version of this song for years and when given the opportunity to collaborate with fellow SOM fan and goth rock icon VV (Ville Valo) it seems like the perfect situation. We are thrilled with how it turned out and hope that anyone who’s familiar with the track enjoys our spin on it and those who have never heard the original enjoy it and maybe this will lead them down the path to the greatness that is SOM like that poster of AFI did for me when I was a kid.

Even this track is still metal, it's just a cover of a goth song. And I'm totally here for it, it's nice to see Andy covering more of his influences from outside of metal

Alright, so my grandfather is dying. This whole week has been rough, from getting on a plane with a 3-hour notice to dealing with other things in life that are really beating the piss out of me. This month has not been easy. I'm sitting in my childhood room listening to the two people that got me through a lot in high school, covering a song that carries a rather strong message in many aspects by an incredible band. I didn't know freedom like this existed in a time like this. Thank you to both of you for doing this. You don't know how much this means to me.

It's a cover, The Sisters of Mercy did the original, they are a goth rock band from the 80s. This song imparticular was made in the early 90s i believe. I agree this cover matched the tone pretty well all while still having a modern sound 🤘

Ville is so awesome, back in high school seeing a CKY video before Jackass exploded and hearing Right Here in My Arms I was hooked. The heartagram is such a great logo too. I can say I have seen HIM live I want to say 4 total times. A few were small shows in Chicago and one was one of Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution Tours, this was 2007 though. What a line-up, getting to see Linkin Park who were great but then also HIM, TBS, MCR, Placebo, and so many others. I love this combo, and I really have always enjoyed the passion which Andy brings to everything he does. Such a great track.

It's 5am and I waited the whole night for this. It's the best feature I could ever imagine. Him or better Ville was like my first love in this Kind of music and Andy or better BVB is the love (band) that changed my life completely. Too sad they only tour in north america together but I'm happy that BVB are finally coming back to Germany again. Can't wait to see them live again, it's definitely been too long 🖤🖤🖤
