She is “underrated” because in the last 10 years she didn’t put up good music or albums, while many others did and many new talents emerged too. Everybody knows how talented she is, but her best albums, Stripped and Back to Basics were out 15-20 years ago... The rest was mediocre and forgettable. She has a ton of talent, but she tried too many things and it got confusing for her fanbase. She should stick to what she is best at ( being soulful) and stop trying to be hip.
