Blackarchnia and Silverbolt have two of the best character arcs, redeeming each other when they were corrupted by Megatron and their time as villains having an important effect in their personalities.

Yeah. Also like the contrast the three sparks Megatron used for his generals were *Spoilers for Beast Machines* Rhinox was an ally of Primal since the start of the Beast Wars (Heck they didn't even bother to change his voice as Tankor) Silverbolt for what you said. And lastly Waspinator. Feels like Megatron just wanted to see if a new body could make him a competent minion and not a comedic buffoon like in Beast Wars.

Love Blackarachnia and Airachnid, just such great characters. My own head cannon is that Airachnid is the ancestor of Blackarachnia, similarly to how in BM Primal hinted at being a descendant of Prime.

Blackarachnia is awesome. I love her BW designs and I think she should make more appearances in modern media. I love her design (for obvious reasons.), her sultry voice and she's genuinely a great character. I also find it hilarious where the design for her came from (Yeah right, "exotic dancer".)

I'm quite sure that Arachnid was originally going to be named Black-Aracknia but her name had to be changed because Hasbro somehow lost the trademark to the name, which isn't a new thing for The Transformers.

I love Blackarachnia because how seductive and cunning she is and Airachnid because of how threating and she can be, I kind of she to see more of her. It's also funny how you mentioned Batman and Catwoman early in the video, because I see Silverbolt and Blackacrachnia if they were Spider-Man and black cat LOL

Great retrospective, she's the standout character to me, both in Beast Wars and Kingdom. I like how she's been useful to the franchise in different shows and comics. Let's hope she's in Rise of the Beast (doubtful). Thanks for this, it's always a special moment watching your vids.

Since Scarlett Johansson is pretty much done as Black Widow over at Marvel, let her play ANOTHER kind of eight-legged slinky siren: BLACKARACHNIA! That Predacon's just like Natasha Romanov: sexy, deadly, and has a voice like poison honey. As of this writing, there are no plans to use the character in RISE OF THE BEASTS, so here's a golden (disk) opportunity! Scarlett! Time to attach your name to a DIFFERENT franchise!

You should do a video on turncoats, characters who switched sides of their own accord without any mental tampering. They're more common than you would think? Turncoat is a category on TFWiki but you may need to do some digging for some of them? Fun Fact: the Combaticons were originally Autobots before they were convinced to join the Decepticons each using one of the seven deadly sins.

Man I loved this Video! Megatron, Dinobot and Black Arachnia are my favorite Beast Wars Characters! She is dangerous and interesting no matter the continuity. But my favorite has to be the Beast Wars / Beast Machines ones, the was the character with most and best character development of the whole continuity of beast wars and beast machines! Another great video sir- loved the opening! Venus was such a treat @ the Con & so very polite. I was with a friend talking to her & she turned & asked my name- she's really classy. Wish I could've gotten a picture of her next to that awesome cosplayer, who is also an awesome person!

Thanks! I talked with Venus a bit too, and I was the one who said she doesn't look a day over 21 during the panel. I even got to tell her I was making this video. I wish I got a picture with her but my budget was spent.

@@RodimusPrimal I had forgotten that was you sir! The panel was posted on KZfaq by Fandom (I think). The only paid autograph I popped for was Gregg Berger on the back of my G1 Grimlock tech spec. When I talked to the volunteer coordinator for the Con, I learned how much stuff Venus has to put up w/ from rude fans, but she is always so sweet.

Fantastic video RodimusPrimal!!!!!! I think Blackarachnia definitely tows the line between good and evil when it comes to Transformers characters. I have always viewed her as the female Vegeta of the Transformers franchise, if this makes sense. Keep on being amazing.

Venus Terzon my favorite voice actress of Blackarachnia. 2:40 Cree Summer one of my favorite voice actress who voice different characters. 8:26 Arachnid voice by Gina Torres nice. 10:32 Jeanne Carr did a good job voice of Blackarachnia. Classic Beast Wars Silverbolt. 16:54 I always love the Beast Wars show version of Blackarachnia a lot. The kingdom I kind of like it and I like the idea she isn't a Maximal but a normal one who join the Predacon but I don't like and no offense I don't like she hit on fem bots like she did to Arcee and Airrazor. It doesn't fit on her I can't deal with it I'm sorry no offense. The female Decepticon inspired Arachnid is amazing I love her character personality a lot. And crossover in My Little Pony and Star-Trek her desire look nice I like her TF X ST crossover design of her a lot. Hopefully her and Blackarachnia will be in more games and show soon. Another great video one thing I always wondered was that if the Maximals got to the stasis pod first what would her beast mode & name be. & As I mentioned in your Silverbolt restrospective I think that legs & bird dog or in beast machines ninja bird should be together back again. One of the best characters in BM imo. 12:59, damn. 15:08, how did I not hear that? Guess she goes both ways. Not to mention, she had a crush on Airazor who saved her one time in the Kingdom cartoon.

Did you know Cree Summer voiced Dark Cynder in the Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning and Dulce the Dragon in the SATAM Sonic The Hedgehog cartoon in the 90s. Even having a leading role in Voltron: Legendary Defender in the late 2010s.
