Dude, I am literally just starting out as a hobby blacksmith, with all the basic, knocked-together, secondhand equipment you would expect, but the videos of a few knife makers have stopped me making some awful mistakes and helped me produce some work that I am truly proud of. You're on that list for teaching me how to not give up on an item and that everything has a chance of restoration. Thanks.

I really liked how you showed the drawings on the left side of the screen to illustrate how to translate the drawing into reality. That was very helpful.

What is amazing, is that you are willing to share your craft like this, and then actually explain your process in a way that most artistically inclined people could grasp and then try themselves. Bravo. I'm gonna try some detail work on a couple of my knives now, thanks to you. If I come up with any ideas through this, I will share. You are a great artist.

Damn. I can make perfect sense of how you made that pattern after seeing the steps. However, I can't understand how your hands are that steady. I am a tattoo artist, and I can't imagine being that good with a dremil/rotary tool. That is the extraordinary part of the work.

Yes, he makes it look easy, but it isnt. Considerable skill needed to make it look so good. Thicker steel like 1/4" would make it easier than 1/8" or even 5/32". I tried to do one using 5/32" but it was very difficult and didn't turn out as nice as his....but not bad all considered. I'm going to try another.
