When you have a qualified Barrister calling out the media as being questionable in their actions, and then you have Dr John Campbell regularly highlighting irregularities in Pharmaceutical industry, NGO and Governmental departments, it's deeply concerning that the public appears to be being intentionally mislead about numerous events.

The way the system has turned on the people is sad indeed.

They hate him, saying he had been released without charge, when that would make him look good, and that would not fit the narrative.

It's naive in this day and age still to think that mainstream media report the news in a balanced way.

What would have happened to a person with no support network to ensure they were properly represented? It is quite chilling how far natural justice, the rule of law, and equality before the law have fallen in western societies.

There should be a legal obligation that if a media establishment reports an arrest they should also report the outcome, most especially in the case of someone being released without charge.

I'm no fan of Robinson or his politics but am pursuing a complaint with the BBC about why they never refer to him without adding, 'real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon'. If giving real names was standard editorial policy then why they have never put when covering Benjamin Netanyahu 'real name Benzion Mileikowsky,' and perhaps even, 'born in Warsaw'. I suspect that if they ever dared do (they won't) the fall-out from FoI would be intense.

A couple of years ago maybe even three years ago Tommy was driving along when he saw three yobs attacking two pensioners. He jumped out of his car (children inside) and scared / fought off the yobs but not before the lady got a black eye. The newspapers reported it and knew it was Tommy but just reported a passer by stopped to help. They did not want to give him any credit.

thanks for highlighting this 'apparent' double standard of journalism, Daniel. We were so led by what we read and saw by the MSM in the past - worth a shudder or two. Thankfully, we now have a larger selection of news outlets - like yours - to view balanced analyses which ask pertinent questions. Provides a modicum of hope for the future.....

Canadian Immigration officials can be shocking, I flew in years ago for 12 hour stop then was joining an American Merchant vessel to conduct some work for the DOD, I had letters from the company, US Valid Visa ,accomodation booked and paid for , Merchant Marine ID docs ! everything including return flights. I was detained at the airport for 7 hours with vile questioning , evenyually took my passport and said if I didn't arrange to leave ( ie a flight ) back to uk within 12 hours there would be an arrest warrant for me, the reason they didn't believe me. Next morning pitched up at airport with flight ticket buisness class paid for by my company. My company had to fly 2 other consultants from half way round the world to replace myself and my other work collegue and the DOD job was delayed due to this. Was never given a reason and even was escorted via armed guard to the plane seat. I'm a proffesional Engineer and have been ALL over the world for 30 odd years. Never in my life have I been treated in such a dustusting unproffesional manner. The reason they gave me for my treatment, they didn't believe me !!! Vile Vile people !

Because according to them. He cannot be controlled so he's now an enemy of the state.

Same thing happened to a member of my family, dragged through the court for several cases of rape and everything that goes with it. The local newspaper named him to go to trial, it was awful, locals ran him out of his home town and when he was found innocent of ALL charges after a week in court, not a thing in the papers, I asked them to admit it but they wouldnt. THANK GOD FOR SOCIAL MEDIA.

Thanks for doing an honourable thing Daniel, I and most others would expect you to do this as a matter of course. Not so the mainstream media who have hounded Tommy for years and as he has exposed before, the lies they tell about him. He has more journalistic backbone in him than the rest of the media put together.

The thing is, without a news story of his release, then the arrest and associated 'guilt,' is still in the mind of the reader. Which is possibly the intention of the news media. If you tell someone; "I've turned the light on." Then later turn it off without informing them. Then they will still think that the light is on, especially if they are nowhere near the room with the light.

I admire the equanimity that you have shown in dealing with this issue and pointing out the vital importance of equality before the law. Many people today seem to believe that people they disagree with should have no legal protections or rights whatsoever. The same people often think that some people deserve arbitrary justice because of who they are rather than what they have done. This is extremely dangerous thinking and risks the very fabric of our society being torn asunder. It is a route away from the rule of law and towards anarchy, intolerance, misery, suffering, and profound injustice. It seems that some people are willing to sacrifice social stability on the alter of their own egos and preferences.

Thank you for speaking out on the Tommy issue. The Mainstream Media never reports on things that may harm the agenda they want to put out to the public. They want Tommy to be perceived as a radical far-right threat to democracy so they are not going to tell the public that he was held by the Cdn gov't because the gov't messed-up and he was innocent of any accusations. A Few months ago I became interested in your channel, as I've long had serious doubts about the BBC, news & the wider media in general. with regards to bias. This also shaped my decision to boycott watching television all together! And your video on TV licensing was also very helpful, I'm sure to many honest people. The videos you made about how the TV licence authorities or should I say their representatives use threatening tones to frighten people into purchasing a TV licence. Of which I personally have had no need of for nearly 24 years as I have remained adamant never to watch live TV on any type of device and therefore know the legal position. However it was reassuring to again be confirmed by your excellent video. So thank you for that. I also believe in the rule of law even though I had a less than adequate education and have experienced injustices personally, let's say Sir Thomas Moore is one such that I hold in the highest regard. This comfortably leads into my next yet interlinked point relevant to this video. In the late nineties to early two thousands The journalist Martin Bell quit the news. He inferred that almost all of the news broadcast was inherently negative and was mostly always headline grabbing, and yet there never seemed to be a follow up story when there was possibly a good outcome, resolution or positive ending? That is very much the point and I believe his point. That is to say that the news reported always seemed to be one-sided and indeed to grab the viewers attention in somewhat sensationalistic way, I.e.. Shock value! Which seems very manipulative to grab peoples attention! Having Asperger's/ASD was good at observing patterns or trends over time and had similarly came to the same realisation and conclusion. In fact I was impressed that Martin had brought this to the surface and bravely spoke out about it. It was at that time I became resolute never to watch TV ever again, partly in support of Martin and also as it seemed to offend my integrity about how news was used as a way to influence public opinion and nearly always seemed one-sided. I, believing strongly in the rule of law at least in principle, considered these tactics as unjust to say the least. It has sadly escalated over the years whereby the media seem to be able to accuse, try and even convict people who have not even stepped foot in a court of law? Later I might add to be completely acquitted yet their lives and reputations tarnished. This is totally abhorrent to the very foundations of law, all it stands for and all that I believe. Here is a quote from Prospect in 2004 about Martin Bell "He thinks that independent television has stopped doing serious news, and that the BBC is consumed with celebrity; that reporting has become more about performance than the imparting of information; and that pressures of 24-hour news mean that "too many people don't know what's happening on the ground." These and similar observations raised great alarm within me about the ethical nature of news, reporting and sensationalising for a predefined prejudicial outcome. And I am indeed glad that I chose to not have a TV, then boycott mainstream news and treat "all news" with caution, scrutiny and scepticism. I'd like to thank you for great content that you create that I often find informative.

The biggest problem we face in this modern society is the fact the authorities do not hold to the laws of the land as they should! This includes the MSM, Police & Judiciary. When they target certain individuals they find to be somewhat as a "Thorn in their side". The legal process is set aside if it gets in the way of them trying to stitch-up the individual(s).
