I need this in my life. I would also like to see a 18650 battery version of this as well as a voltage regulator switch, 5v, 7.5v, 12v, 19v, and 21v :)

Question is where does the energy come from? To elaborate: What's the fuel and how does it deplete and refill? What conditions would cause failure? What reaction is happening and what are its limitations?
@SolarSeeker45

The contact page on your website doesn't work. (Any chance of me obtaining a prototype?) At any rate I recommend adding a boost/buck regulator to the design. That would allow you to have an adjustable voltage output. You could essentially make a battery charger that trickle charges anything between 3 and 36 volts.

Love it. Want one! :) From a design point however your new USB attachment and the tall switch really mess up the form factor. But knowing your mad build skills and since you're still working on it, I'll assume you're going to find a solution to integrate the plugs and a smaller switch along the side of the box. Keep us posted!
@PMMG4HYBRID

I agree. A nice push button switch on the side is being considered, but a larger box would be necessary to also internally include two USB ports and detection circuitry. Looking into it.

Brother I am so on board with you. I have watched your videos and paid careful attention to what has been said (and even more to what hasn't). If you have an experimental version of the blackbox around that I could donate for to use for research purposes (I do not wish to buy/sell, no commerce terms), please let me know. I am currently saving for the G1. I have priced out all the magnets and the caps.. looks like about an extra grand in parts. So, we're saving! I do have some other questions regarding the G1, but I can save those for the time that we actually have the funds! Thanks so much for what you're doing and have done.

+PMMG4HYBRID hey man ive been looking at your t2 design and q3 they are all beautiful, its like industrial art. i myself am i cnc machinist so i enjoy all things technology, and id like to buy one of your kits but im on a bit of a budget. I have an idea for you and im not sure if you would do it but i think you should do a scaled down miniaturized version of your t2 q2 or q3 they are really cool to watch running they look like set pieces out of some old sifi film i mean all you need is a few tesla coils and bam mad scientist.

Hey PMM... I love this video. specially the part where you talk about your idea history (the earlier video in fact, published April 22 of this year). The part where you are holding two thin pieces of lava rock in your plastic clamp with cilicone... and where they continuously give out over 2 amps. Why don't you figure out how to add this idea as part of any cellphone cover. BANG! all cellphones finally would hold charge for very long time. Just an idea of mine, but I think with something like this, you would finally create something the entire world would appreciate.

You should put a link to buy this in the description. I've been using Anker portable battery packs, which last a long time, and charge allot of devices numerous times, but this is a game changer. The batteries in the device could be upgraded to an even higher MAH Mili Amp Hour. I don't know how much power it takes to power that engine/ what ever that was in the vid, but either way not having to plug something in is a game changer. Now we just need our devices batteries upgraded, to graphite batteries. I wonder how long it will be before Samsung or LG , and even Laptop companies upgrade from lithium batteries, hopefully soon. we've already came along way though, I remember when smart phones just became a thing, and a cell phone battery would only last thirty minutes in some cases/ if you were watching allot of videos. Anyway we've came a long way, but there's obviously some more growing needed. Graphite is a game changer for electric cars too. I'm gonna look on Amazon for this portable battery, but does anyone have a link for It?

OK, so it's a slow battery charging a faster battery. There are 2 key unanswered questions: 1. What is the dead-short current of the slow battery? 2. When does the slow battery stop working? (Because it will)

...and the deadshort current? Also, I think it would be useful to see the stats on longevity. One battery lasting 2 years won't cut it. Out of 100 units, what's the average lifetime, and what's the standard deviation, for instance - show us a distribution curve. Don't misunderstand me - I'm intrigued.

it blew up, and set on fire, there is no protection for the li-ion batteries. He never talks about Amps or actual power very much but from the numbers, 6-12 hours to charge would mean his cells give out 300mA, plenty of current to over chage most small batteries. Don't forget the cells he's using or made are batteries themselves, just using a different chemistry and will run out. converting a chemical reaction into electricy produces heat which in turn produces a rise in voltage and so more power which then produces even more voltage and so on, thermal runaway
