Today was a pretty fantastic reveal for Bretonnia. I remain committed to my initial Bretonnia focus. Really looking forward to the release!

I just realised we won't see Leoncoeur or many of the merely mortal special characters due to the time frame. Whoops! But the Green Knight. Surely. That old school Green Knight sculpt will do nicely.

I hope we get some AOS rules for them as well, my younger brother loves AOS and would be nice to have an army to play with him

I really love the Brettonian range. I probably won't be doing a new army as I've already got 3 large armies that I'll play with first. If I do a new one it'll probably be TK.

My biggest hope is that the wyvern lance is still in the army. My favorite relic, flame thrower lance yes please!

Honestly I feel like the only kit shown off I'm annoyed they didn't redo the Peggy Knights and the trebuchet

Apart from the knights on foot and the new characters I already have a huge load of bretonnia still in the box grail knights questing knights the trebuchet etc not to mention tomb kings I could play it now if they released the rules

They are specifically going to have new characters suitable to the age, i think Leon Leoncur was not alive in the old world era.

I am moist... Brets were one of mine WFB armies back in the day and I still have some of my boys. New sculpts are gorgeous and I actually really like that they keep the good,ol´, unwashed man at arms sculpts. The last time I´ve painted those dirty peasants is like 20 years ago.

Honestly my experience with Resin by GW and FW has been extremely bad, and I don't really desire to buy models that are 20 years old. The new stuff looks great, but honestly, while I wanted to dive back in (and I collected tomb kings and bretonians, among others, back in the day), the fact that most of the units are fail cast or 20+ year old sculpts makes me....not interested. They announced this 5 years ago almost, and the big release is a couple of new plastic units and a bunch of shit that was old when the old world went away? I think, best case, I will sit on the sidelines for a few years and see if they decide to start really supporting it. That said, the few new minis they have made for the release do look excellent, which makes me all the more sad they are not updating the other units. Some stuff holds up very well, but a lot of stuff does not.

The greed of Games Workshop will destroy them. In my opinion, one of the most important motives for closing “fantasy battles” was the increased aggressiveness of fantasy fanboys towards new fresh people. All the elitists, grognards, gatekeepers did practically nothing for the hobby. They just ranted endlessly about how "FB is better than 40k", never missing an opportunity to make some racist/sexist joke while passing by the table where I play 40k. Now, GW says "welcome back" to this community. How do you imagine playing Age of Sigmar and the "old world" simultaneously in the same room? I’ll say more: at least one of the “old world” fanboys apologized for 8 years of insults and bullying against Age of Sigmar?

Nooooo no metal. Metal is the worst. Metal is why I never got into fantasy the first time. I'm so ready to buy 2-4 of every plastic box.
