I visited 2 grasslands in karnataka so far, both slightly distinct form one another. One grassland seemed to have hard red soil with a more dry grass specie making up the place. The other grassland had black soil and had different kind of grasses making up the scape, short green moist grass, tall green grass, tall dry grass and more. Both places had an abundance of blackbucks, such amazing creatures. Sadly, I also witnessed domesticated dogs chasing them. We observed 2 males engaging in what I presume was territory establishment and establishing dominance.
