I have the same tactical crossbow. I was going to upgrade to 55 lb limbs. But a German guy dry fired the 35 lb limbs 100 times with no limb breakage. This 150 lb limb I'll say is great for hunting. But way too slow for survival/defense.

@shaynehawkins 75lbs to 90lbs is the defense side of it. 120lbs to 150lbs is the fun side of it.

you can get a EK Archery Adder for it to be still fast with higher lbs

I made a steel trigger, and installed an overtravel stop screw in the frame on for my crossbow pistol. Its not an AR6, its one of the generic ones without the magazine. The better trigger pull made a word of difference. I would think its much more important because of the longer amount of time from release to the exit of the bolt. There was also a high spot on the rail channel on mine. Right in the middle towards the end of the frame. There was a little wear spot in the bottom of the channel where the bolts were rubbing on the way out. Just filing that down with a needle file improved the accuracy a lot. Then I tackled the trigger issues.

How easy is it to swap limbs on the (open system) stinger?? Seems like the magazine doesn’t open far enough to make it easy. Maybe it works better with the metal magazines??

id stick with the 35 or 55 because its still going to kill something and its much faster to operate and probably the string and limbs will last longer. that 150 is insane!

Hi, very interesting. I use the 90 pound Stinger Tactical. I saw an american video on YT, where a hunter shot a wild boar with a 55 pound- bow-Stinger , it works Look for this at YT: "MINI CROSSBOW VS Feral Hog" 150 is difficult to tension for me ,if i want to shoot quickly, I think. A new removable magazine for the Stinger will be available in the summer, with 10 Arrows. Loads much faster: look for "stinger M10". In Germany many people use it for home defense, because firearms are very difficult to obtain. Greetings from Frankfurt/Germany
