Beautiful! I am so happy to see that Kim is back in the mountains, I love their book, Run the Alps Switzerland, Black diamond has always been a secure brand in gear. Hillary Gerardi inspired me to wear Black Diamond for Trail Running.

What a great place among those beautiful mountains. Incredible place to live and being able to enjoy. No wonder she belongs to there, I´m sure that´s what it kept her motivation and strength to overcome her difficult times.

So lovely to get to know a tiny bit about the people and personalities behind your amazing projects - i've engaged with your web site on multiple occasions and have made a few pilgrimages to the Valais and to your neck of the woods in Interlaken to enjoy and immerse myself in the mountains as a result of your resource. Really, a huge thank you to all of you for the massive labour of love that is AlpsInsight, I look forward to seeing what else comes out of your bat cave lab in the future! And a message for Kim, you are a true inspiration and model of perseverance. Chapeau indeed to all.

Hi Michael, Thank you for that! Kim truly is incredible, before and after what she's gone through. Stoked to hear you enjoy what we do with ALPSinsight! We're just now putting the finishing touches on an online guide to Chamonix - it's at elevation.alpsinsight.com - see you out there I hope!

I'm really glad I watched this. When I first saw it was more about photography I almost switched it but what a great video and message. One thing I do is (as that one guy said) is run like crazy through my local hills but why? Why not take some time and enjoy where I am. Why am I in such a rush to get "home"? As the one girl found out....we don't know what tomorrow will bring.

Does anyone know about a similar resource of information for Austria? Alpsinsight is a great inspiration however it would be much more rational to make the hut-to-hut tours in Austria rather than in expensive Switzerland.

I am torn between being stoked for better info and guides bring the goods to the people and the brutal outcomes of tourism in the alps.

I spent 5 years publishing The Hot Springs National Scenic Trail Proposal but couldn't get people stoked on it and in the end lost my life savings and my love for long-distance hikers.
