Yeah, it's alpha male voice. I think his speaking voice is better than singing voice.

It's so refreshing to see Mr. Wang in a Hollywood movie. Finally! I mean he IS American and a extremely talented artist! Not only acting but he's a trained musician. It's a shame that such a jewel has to go to Asia to be celebrated like the next Michael Jackson/Elvis merged together plus some really good acting and in America it's so difficult for him to be accepted just because he has Chinese roots. Hope these times are finally over! Hope to see more of him in the West from now!

I'm glad he chose to turn down the hollywood scripts that only want to feed into the stereotypes of Asian American men that aren't true. This guy deserves respect, would be nice to see more Asian Americans being represented in good roles for American films.
