Good to see a real knife for a change. You don't need no thumb studs, finger holes, flippers, auto assist, carbon fiber inlaids, etc.

I love Blackjack fixed blade knives and their convex grinds. I love this model too but I like the older style fighters with the curved thinner handles without the fat taper on the back half of the handle. Thanks.

Good review Dave. I like the history involved in some of the older fixed blade designs. I have one of the Bark River Canoe knives. I like it. The history of Randall knives and people such as Horace Kephart is fascinating and much to learn.

I wish the false edge was sharp. That’s one of the things that make Randalls great. I still want a BlackJack or two though

i had never heard of this knife before a week ago, the Randall #1 have wanted every since I seen it in a magazine as a kid (I'm 60 now) but the Randall was just too much money and too hard to get so i stated to figure out how to make my own Randall then last week i ordered one of these
