Sup Tac! Awesome vid as always playboy! I gotta add that my tac ops 8 1 production run has gotten scratched like shit by the sheath aswell. it looks like ive used it for years but I have never acually taken it out into the bush... yet. Anyway just wanted to share that! Keep up the good work brother!

try flushing the sheath with water and letting it dry might clean out the smal particles of the Kidex flying around in there
@bradleystrand8110 жыл бұрын
I did that with my 3 Tac Ops Kydex sheaths and only one left one tiny scratch on my Tac Ops 8. When I ran my finger around the throat of the sheath there was a really gritty dust all over. It must contain residual abrasive dust from sanding and grinding the Kydex or other knives in the shop.

G'day tactical, big fan of your channel and after watching theese videos I'm not sure what model to get. It's between tac ops 4 and tac ops 6, will be used for mostly hunting (kangaroos) and camping cheers mate 🍻

They are fantastic knives smokey mountain knifeworks has them on sale quite often for $79 dollars for about any of the blackjack tac ops knives. Also I haven't seen a single blackjack tac-ops knife that hasnt been a first prod run.

Say Heah Tac't, I defenetly can dig where your coming from with that 4"+ Blackjack because I have a Bravo 1 from the same people Bark River, They do make a good knife. Although I buy my knives for the bush, One of my Fav. things to do is scout nature out, including earing out in the bush that includes building things, making tools like to dig with and baton, and I always like to make a good walking stick by slicing the bark off, simple stuff. I generally like to team up other to cutting tools, so when I lite travel usually I like a good Trio. A good Belt Knife, Axe/Hatchet depends on how cold it is because I like Scouting all year around. Even when I do the same area, Snow and change of color make a different scenario. I really enjoy using my Bravo 1 and because it was designed for a military outfit, So I trust it to preform well in the bush, But to be honest, I like my Rodent 5 a little better because it has a choil and a 5 1/2" blade, My axe/hatchet like I said can vary, But in milder weather one of my Fav's is my 2Hawks Double Bit Hatchet, I can fell with it and split,, But mist of all I use it instead of a Large knife. The saw is my Wicked Tough Saw because it's pretty tough and I can carry it in the open position when I'm making something and it's actually strong enough to lite chop with it, The sheath comes separat. But since I always wanted a Ray Mears Woodlore, I didn't want to wait 5 years for it, So I bought a Skookum Bush Tool and mine is in 3V and I'm sure it's as good. But then I also have the Busse Combat Son of Badger which is as expensive as a R. M. But in the INFI Steel, and to date it's prolly one of my Fav's. Bush Craft Knives, It typically doesn't look as a Bushcraft knife, But believe me it's a good one. Yeah I enjoy your Backpack videos, You have some kewl knives there Brother. Thanx for sharing.

I got a Black Jack 155 neck knife satin finish with black micarta scales 3 days ago. It was a nice blade but unfortunately the sheath was not formed right and when it got to me in the mail , the knife was pushed so far in the sheath that the tip was sticking out the other side and was broken off. It was the last one they had and living in Canada hard to find another. Glade the companie I brought it from is giving me a full refund. Did an Unboxing video of it so it's all on video. Lol I'll up load that in the next week. At lest I get tot buy another blade now. Sweet.

YOU is DA MAN ! And this knife is a good one. You couldn't break it, so it can take it. I really like these knives, but on an Uncle Sam retirement budget they are a little pricey for me. I think these are one of the best knives for the money. Hopefully, I can hide some cash form the O'l lady and buy one someday. By the way talking about O'l ladies how is Miss Tactical. Is she Mrs. Tactical yet. Or are you scared she'll run your life if she becomes Mrs. Tactical, LOL........I just gave up and my O'l lady tries to run it all. I learned how to say, "Yes honey" and do just the opposite. Something one learns after 50.

Well, I got it! My kydex was fukt up...I have a heat gun so ok. The blade is a bad ass little guy just like you said brother. Like all my new toys I am carrying it for now. Had to get rid of the belt loop, and put a Tec loc on. I carry weak side cross draw next to the belt buckle. Seems to be more comfortable. Beers to you my friend! Or cheers...I like beers better.
