Slaves would only be Emancipated in the State's that continued to rebel. When not one Southern State came back to the Union by January 1,1863 Lincoln omitted or the Offer expired. Lincoln signed and issued the Proclamation on January 1,1863. There is so much more History they have tried to destroy. I was shocked this video came out. I have been teaching about these Camps and some don't believe me. My dad had a Master's in American and World History. So much History has been destroyed to keep the false narrative of the Moral North and solely put all the blame and racism in the South. At the time of the Civil War there were 5 Northern State's that didn't allow blacks to live in their State's. Southerners had lived with blacks for a few generations.

I think it is the opposite. I think we are too loving, and too human to return the same manner of evil and hatred that has been done to our ancestors, that we can still can feel today. This is what makes us human. I don’t know what to call those demonic evil (hatred carriers) of the past, nothing more than barbaric animals. Who kills other humans and leaves them to rot amongst their families? That same energy still lingers among us today, no empathy, no compassion, only evil and hatred. They see us all the same worldwide. We can serve the country, be “great law abiding” citizens, hardworking, great achievers, but this thin layer of deep melanin skin, and beautiful textured hair just brings out rooted hatred immediately! It just makes no sense to me, but that is the reality at this time on earth. I said at this time! Think about it; we’re still here to witness it all. It’s call survival of the fittest. After all that has been mentioned in this video, we’re still here! That’s love, not hate! That resilience, not low self worth!

Where does that stop ? Every single race over the entire globe has been enslaved at some point in history. White Irish were indentured servants and used as fodder when blowing up rocky terrain for US expansion. Chinese had similar experiences . Many others were displaced from their ancestral homelands (land you live on today). Besides, arguing for reparations is arguing to yoke other races into slavery by virtue of taking their hard earned money to pay it(yes, every race will pay a tax to generate the pool of money, and no, money does not grow on trees). No one alive today was there for these atrocities and are neither victims nor oppressors of such. History is tragic, and we must have compassion for those that suffered and endured to get us where we are today. As bad as it was, most of us wouldn't even be here had it happened any other way. We should learn from the past so as not to repeat it . Be thankful and humble for a better today comparatively , and hopeful for a better tomorrow.
