DK For sure, it's certainly not cheap.

I love the razor and the shave. The only thing I don't like is removing the blade for cleaning
@TheVirtualGroomroom5 жыл бұрын
Socrates I agree with you. The width of the blades makes that pretty difficult.
@Socrates...5 жыл бұрын
The Virtual Groomroom either the width of the blade or there should be a mechanism to create a space between top plate and blade when dislodging the blade as it is very firmly in place

Although I hated the Blackbird (waay too much blade feel), the stellar reviews of this razor (Some guys have actually cleared their dens because of it.) along with the fact that it is soon to be released in Ti, has led me to reconsider Blackland. Shane has assured me, as you mention, that there is a 30-day, hassle-free refund policy...and I can attest to that...so what do I have to lose? Also, I love the looks of this thing. The Blackland Vector could be the best-looking razor I've ever seen...it's so sleek and elegant...like you know it's going to be extremely light and nimble! But, I have to be patient. I'm fairly new to wet shaving...I only started 3 months ago...and I know there's a learning curve with any SE razor. So, unlike the Blackbird, which I returned the next day lol, I'm going to follow Shane's advice and give the Vector a couple of weeks. As a side note, I started using sharper blades like Feather and Polsilver, which have helped to improve my technique...for example, I use very little pressure now. As a result, my shaves are much more comfortable. Hopefully, I can learn to wield the Vector within the 30-day timeframe. Definitely going to give it a shot! Thanks for the great review! As I said before, you always answer the questions I have before I ask them!lol To me, that's the sign of a gifted reviewer! Congrats, Jack!

If you don't like blade feel you probably won't like the Vector... AC blades are thicker and way sharper than DE blades. It's a different face-feel entirely. Shane from blackland states it's a 5/10 aggression but I personally think it's closer to a 6 or 7 on that scale. If you really want to try a SE I recommend the Razorock Blackhawk V3 Medium. It's a bit more mild & forgiving as well as being cheaper. Best of luck

@@george.r The Vector Ti is my favorite razor 🪒 along with the Wolfman WR2. Although the Vector has blade feel, it’s not menacing like the Blackbird. My favorite AC blade is the Proline 👍🏻

Hi Jack, I think this will be my next razor. You have the machined version, is there a reason you went for this over polished? Just wondering.
