There is so much to discover in this track. Every time I listen to it I find something new. You must have spent so many hours working on the fine details, way past the point where most artists would have thought of it as being complete. Well done my friend, in future I'm going to do whatever I can in my power to make sure millions more hear this piece. I've come across less than 10 songs and tracks this incredible in my life. I sit here at my desk, scrolling through KZfaq music videos. I come across a song, titled, "Rain" by Blackmill. I hadn't listened to his songs much before, so I decide to play the video. Little did I know, that later, I would find myself sitting motionless just 3 minutes later, thinking about my past, nearly in tears, mesmerized by a calming song. Needless to say, I now have a new favorite song, and a great emotional moment I hope to never forget. Well done.

I'm going through some old photos on my computer and just found a screenshot of this playing on my phone through Pandora from March 2013!! I just looked this up and oh my god, it's so amazing!! I like to think I saved that screenshot for a reason, almost making it act like a time capsule so that I could find this incredible piece of music again. This music just works. It's not necessarily ambient, but it's living on that fine line between ambient and calming electronica. It makes me think. I can see the sunset from my window right now. This music just makes my mind wander and want to think about something else out there in the sky, in the world, in the universe. Music, especially music like this, does something to ones brain and mind. It taps it in a special way. It's saying let me in and I'll let you see the world in a way that you couldn't before. Thank you Blackmill for this incredible piece of music!

Dear Blackmill, 4 years ago, when I first found this, I listened to it day after day, night after night. I grew to loving it forever. But one day, I ended up letting go from it. I felt as if I continued spamming my ears with it, it will no longer be as good as it was. Now, 4 years later, I was dumped by my girlfriend for another. I don't want to go into detail, but it was for another guy which made me feel worst. It began raining outside and I sat on my porch. I watched the raindrops fall as I was listening to Chillstep. It hit me that I long forgot a beautiful song. I started listening to it, and people that reply please don't call me a wimp, but I began crying because of the memories it gave back, and just the pure beauty in this. Blackmill, whoever you are, thank you for everything you have done. I might not always remember this song, but I will. In other words, although I might of forgot it at one point, my brain will always know this song if that makes sense. I love you Blackmill. I hope you are reading this. Have a great day. -Kevin

For a solid 10 years this song still keeps adding magic to every moment when I listen to it. Some say Blackmill come back, but I'd only agree if you'd be able to make something of a quality that can be compared to your best works such as this one, and that can be very hard. Just wanted to say thx for the music and also say that it doesn't matter much if Blackmill simply returns more than if he returns with new music with quality of this caliber

No matter how dark it is The stars will always shine No matter just how hurt you are, It will all go in time No matter what the cut or bruise One day it will all heal No matter just how numb you are One day you'll learn to feel. No matter just how empty There's always something inside No matter how long the night is The sun will always rise.

Thank you. I read this 9 years later, and I felt as if I'd traveled back in time to when you wrote it. Music and words have a way of helping you to travel through time. 💛

Sooo, Im listening to this music over my mac, and I really had to go outside to smoke. I don't have this music on my phone and I didn't want the music to stop. So, I ended up carrying this rather large mac outside, and used an earpiece to listen to the music while enjoying a piece of cancer stick. ;) Sorry, for the book. Just wanted to share. haha

You lot can tell this guy how to live his life and make him want to not speak about what he does in his own life ever again, or shut the hell up and enjoy the point in his comment? Lol it put a nice picture in my head actually, one of hope. As it almost signifies that Blackmill can help people find clarity in their lives of day to day problems and stresses, which things like cigarettes are often used as a means of ignoring the rest of our struggles.

Every single time I hear a song of Blackmill I've never heard before I'm thinking "This is so great, there is no possible way there is any better song in existence than this". And Blackmill is like "Really? Hold my beer and check this out". Absolutely amazing piece of music art.

I love blackmill so much my friend introduced me to it, and I literally feel energy from my inner core , spiritual heart beat out to tune in unison. Like its like my soul sings in the vibrations and sounds/frequencies as all the songs by blackmill, i love them all. They make me cry, give me goose bumps all over my entire body and chills and shake me to my core, its like hearing my own voice from a past life i had or different kind of reality almost. So much meaning, so much feeling, so much love and light and hope and energy. I am in love with you Blackmill , please never forget your importance ❤❤
