The Nordics themselves glorified death and were fearless for this very reason: they considered fighting alongside their gods the greatest honor bestowed. Fun fact: women are NOT allowed to Valholl. Fun fact 2: MOST women AUTOMATICALLY go to hell after death. A select few can go to the hall of Freya. Fun fact 3: foreigners from very far away lands are not known to get accepted into Valhalla.
