Honestly the rictofen ending by itself is better than the maxis

I also feel like Richtofen continuing to switch bodies is more in line with tradition, and then the rivarly between the two doctors can carry on, Maxis can come back somehow and pull the moon crew off of area 51. Idk so many options they could have gone with but they narrowed it all down and explained it all. Ambiguity makes it better.

Reminder that Buried was the final map led by the lead director of Zombies from WAW to BO2. So Maxis story is only really canon to Blundell, the guy who came after him's side of the story that continues into BO3 and all the ones after it. There wasn't a "good" ending here really. It was the devil you know vs the devil you don't. I really would've preferred Richtofen's ending too as it's also the more interesting story.

I see round infinity as a what could happen if you dont do either sides of the ee once you collect the switch off the body the timeline changes they finish the ee and can then leave

Man I used to love zombies lore honestly I wished somehow they could have made a split timeline where Richthofen posses Samuel then using the time bomb in buried Richthofen could use his physical form to control Samuel and lead the gang on some different adventures through time to change it so he could have more control. I feel like a side story where u see stuhlinger in the flesh where he became a cannibal would be sick N yah get more of a glimpse at the OG crew after moon where Samantha and Richthofen switched bodies but it could be a lot like that movie freaky Friday so idk about that. Still I would really have liked to see that, the maxis being the cannon ending n him creating origins n then victis going to the dark aether what a fun phrase of words that is in ur black ops anyways when they added in the apothicans I noped out the fact if victis returns it’ll be in some BS with the aether is so lame to me I just liked green run crew in apocalyptic scenarios I think Samantha as Richthofen woulda been better for something involving the aether I still couldn’t believe the only way they continued this timeline in anyway was seein zombie Richthofen in bo4 that was just so bad

So they basically help portray in moon in help destroying the map in bo1 bc bo3 is in a parallel universe with changing out comes

Also victis only die when they fail, Im sure. Richtofen wouldnt kill his personal body.

you know what would be crazy? if this ending turns out to be cannon but in a different multiverse which means this richtophen has the ultimate power so he might look for the other dimensions and find the dark either dimension and try to rule over it and that would be the cod 2024 story. but we all know it would never happen

I thought it was common sense they’re dead in round infinity because… it takes place an infinite amount of time later. They’re not immortal. The Richthofen ending is the good ending for sure.
