In this video Sully unboxes a couple of the 1/12 scale US Army Rangers "Operation Overlord" action figures from Crazy Figure. These figures are based on the characters from the moving Saving Private Ryan and Crazy Figure released them all at the same time, so Sully has the entire set on display for you to see. He unboxes the Captain, based on Tom Hanks character, and the Combat Medic.

These are significantly taller than the damtoys figures, they stand maybe half an inch taller, but they are seriously amazing figures

I heard about GI Joe Classified, and was hoping beyond all hope this was the format they were going to release. But offer it like a combo of 60s/70s & 80s to Modern Era. I pictured offering basic figures, a la Grunt, Gung Ho, Ace, and Shipwreck. Then deluxe figures and figure accessory packs to include alternate heads. Thanks for sharing

@blackopstoys the ability to use 6" bucks, thin, muscular, female, then Roadblock/ Heavy Duty huge, with soft goods would have allotted more tooling money for vehicles. They probably would be a cross this level of detail and the minimalist Mego level. The cost of paint applications would be limited to portraits and any rubber/plastic accessories. It would have a great way to do Adventure Team too. I hear some of these collectors refer to "clothed figures" as dolls and it really tweaks my turnips. The first ever "action figure" was clothed. The entire reason for shrinking them down was to emulate the vehicle play created by Adventure People, Mego, and Star Wars. I can't get into Classified because they are children's toys without a proper toy line to support it. Why make Cover Girl without a Wolverine; why make Copperhead without a Water Moccasin; why make Zartan without his swamp skier; why give an exclusive version of Zartan (and Scareglow for that matter) with a feature the standard toy had in the 80s? Without electronics, and the add on tiers, and with one figure, the HISS was easily a $100 toy. I love GI Joe, but for someone without one Marvel Legends figure, Classified makes no logical sense. GI Joe, in ever inception, has pioneered the action figure world; now its just a military clone of Marvel Legends. No thought at all, or engineering, went into creating the Classified body. They just copied a 10 year old format for making 6" action figures, and for the IP. They can spend money on GI Joe without having to share any of the profit. The fact that Lanard can make playsets for their 3¾" inch at varying price points shows just how overpriced GI.Joe toys actually are. Sorry for the rant!

How do these compare to the Pop toys figures? There's also the 1/12 DID WWII figures out there...thinking which ones to get

Better bodies than the pop toys, by gear is good on both. They would all go well together if you where making an army.,

Did any of yours come missing the head socket that connects to the neck peg? My Technical Sergeant came without any way of connecting to the neck
