Headed to the Missouri breaks for muleys this November, them back to Montana next year for lions I've been comparing kuiu and stone gear for these hunts ,I can't wait to put these products to the test.

Both good options. I prefer my stone pack over my Kuiu. Clothing wise I prefer my Kuiu over my stone.

Just ordered my 0 degree bag for annual thanksgiving climbjng trip. Lot of people on here say grab the 15. But, I’m car campin and my girl gets real cold easy. I have a 17 rei bag for 40’s-Spring temps. Looking forward to waking up at the base of cliffs with good friends in a hunting company bag. Fred Bohm went full bore hunting and I’m goin from hunting to climbing. I love how the outdoors has brought me to so many wonderful people all with similar goals, to stay outside!

Ryans sporting that 'I could live in the backcountry for a month on beef jerky alone' look. Love SG. I have their 0 bag, 2P skyscraper and Avail 2200 day/travel pack. Also their regular and wool socks, LOVE their socks as well. I do a lot of stuff in the outdoors so I'm not always worried about ounces and their 0 bag is the warmest 0 bag I've ever owned. It's also quite roomy as mentioned. I had a Kifaru 0 slick bag and the SG is just as roomy, lighter weight, and *much* warmer.

Who better to run down a list of their SG favorites than Ryan? I like the pants and the design behind those. My current Coleman mummy bag definitely doesn’t pack down that small. Even though those puffy pants and jacket are legit, I can’t afford them or the pack. But I may go with the Black Ovis ones. Especially when they go on sale. Brian Call likes them.

The Black Ovis puffys are ligit. You can’t beat them for the price. I love mine. Just make sure to go big enough on the size. It’s better to have them to big.

@@gold54bs I saw that and was one of the reasons why I mentioned it since the sales rotate through daily. I appreciate the heads up though. Sadly I am in a tough money crunch currently and don’t have a hunt lined up for the fall to even use them on. Would love to pick them up though. Hopefully when I am ready there will still be a sale on them.

@@ronland1821 that’s a great point especially since you are layering. I am 6’ 258 lbs that wears a 38 or 40 waist and 30 or 32 length pant. Probably the 2XL or 3XL pant and jacket
