For info, the reason why you were slow in the tomahawk at space X is because you hadn't press the overtake button. Basically that reduces the drag and gives you even more topspeeds and crazier accelerations

You should try racing against GT Sophy, the new AI for Gran Turismo. There are some events available to try out the new AI on the main menu.

If you dit in front of tv I suggest to switch on the screen border in PSVR settings. It helps with tracking issue very well.

Great vid! I do however recommend that you take a water break when you start feeling sick. Pushing through motion sickness risks making it so absurdely much much worse.

I just tried out ps vr 2 on gt7 and i really thought that i was actually inside a real car when using it.

You need to get yourself some Meclizine one hour before driving in VR. I also have motion sickness from riding in other people’s cars, and I found that I’m particularly sensitive to VR and HORRIBLY sensitive to those “4D” rides in Disney and Universal Studios. Meclizine is non-drowsy.

by the way if you hold down the right stick while driving the car goes quicker and the things go down which makes it a lot quicker

You really need to play Assetto Corsa or Project Cars 2 to get some truly immersive VR

if you ever think you don't get motion sickness in VR hedseat I recommend simulator mode in Warthunder I felt my stomach go upside down and then i was burping like crazy for the rest of the evening :D

You need to try the Chaparral 2X, you lay down on your stomach and drive, otherwise my favourite car in VR is the Shelby Cobra it looks amazing.

1 thing I've noticed about psvr2 is that it really has a capitalist effect on the community. Making posts in facebook groups I normally get 100's of reactions in, I got 1 so far in over 24 hrs on my vr post when trying to make some more vr friends. In public lobbies when I ask who has vr, I get ignored, insulted, or people running into my car. Lobbies with vr in the title usually consist of the host and just me, maybe 1 other person joins for 5 min before leaving. I've never seen poor people so divisive on videogames before. Can't wait til everyone affords it over time. Really is such an amazingly positive experience with such negative feedback from the less fortunate.

From playing in VR I honestly don’t see why everyone is making a huge deal out of it. It is cool to have a VR racing game but they way they are handling it is a bit bad. It’s not full VR. You can’t use the VR controls (at least of me) and the flat screen kinda makes me a little nauseous not just from the game but also the home menu.
