Blackpath racing lowering links install V-Star Get Low

here is a installation video of the Blackpath lowering links for a V-star 1100 will be the same for the 650. It is a very straight forward other than what points do what for your ride heights. I explained what the different points will do in the video. parts are made of the equivalent metals and size of factory so this will not create a week link. (no pun intended)

Hey,so...how did it work? Ever bottom out? Or the frame touch the road in any bend?

I never had any bottoming out issues other than one time on a over sized speed bump. I did not do any 2 up riding on that bike tho. In the turn I found I still had plenty of lean angle but I had forward controls that brings the controls to a better area in my opinion.

A previous owner of my XVS 1100 actually put theese on to the lowest setting. I actually didn't like it so i Was trying to adjust it by 1 step higher. But as soon as i actually removed the nut on the bottom bolt and trying to remove it the frame is in the way for some reason so it's impossible to actually remove the bolt. Do you have any clue why that is? Would appreciate any suggestions to get this fixed

Remove the other bolt that holds the plates that way you can pull the plates away from the bolt then remove the bolt I'm wanting to say it had only one direction that had ease of removal and you might of installed it with the bolt going the other direction

which side is top or bottom and front and back? my instructions didn't clarify. thanks ride safe

It has been a while but I'm wanting to say the side with the 3 holes you direct upwards and take the two and make sure all the holes line up with each other and that's the way they go hope that makes sense
