The lyrics are truly able to potray the feeling of loneliness, and the instrumental has caught up so well w them that in whole, the song's able to make anyone feel sad. This is Blackpink's best song as it can actually make people feel a very common and a major human emotion which is longing for a company.🤧

It’s deserving. The fact that it’s not like other kpop groups’ concept makes it more special and unique. Other kpop groups made a retro song, although retro is good, it also sounds outdated or old sometimes. Retro concept in kpop sounds so generic now since a lot of kpop artists have done retro.

i think blackpink is the only kpop group with diverse and absolutely amazing instrumentals. so many layers are put in their instrumentals and they always incorporate different sounds like guitars, trumpets, drums, indian/arabic beats and many more. its amazing

@@sumaiyamithi6041 i have actually, but blackpink's instrumental is more diverse. they always incorporate guitars, south asian beats, drums, trumpets and etc. what i mean by that is every second in their songs, there will be a change in instrumental and beats and its very pleasing to listen to. i even think their instrumental is better alone without the singing. there is always a climax in their beats and instrumental. simply put, the production of their songs is just so of high quality.

This era will always make me emotional and will hold a special place in my heart. This song already held some nostalgic elements and vibes to it, like the guitar, the flows, the 2010's edm vibes, "Lovesick girls" always felt like a youthful festival getaway song for me. But the fact that I was a freshman in highschool and I remember the day this dropped so well and now I'm going into my senior year, it truly makes it nostalgic.
