Jennie became a Chanel ambassador in 2018 but she always wore the brand, her mother is also big into Chanel and she gave Jennie a lot of clothes and accessories when she was growing up.

Jennie kim is her real name. Jennie explained that many people do not know that Jennie is her actual name and think it is a stage name. She elaborated that her name is a pure Korean name and explained that her name actually has something to do with actor Lee Jung Jae. Lee Jung Jae, the actor who played the lead character on the megahit series 'Squid Game. Jennie said, "Actually my mom is a fan of Mr. Lee Jung Jae," and added, "He [Lee Jung Jae] played the role of Jae Hee in the drama 'Sandglass.' If my mom gave birth to a son, she planned to name him 'Jaehee,' but then she gave birth to a daughter. So she named me 'Jennie,' which is similar to Jaehee."

This performance was on a live TV SHOW host by JYP( 1 of the big 3 company). At that time the girls only had 4 songs so they had performed a medley of their songs after that the MC asked them to do something more, so they choose this song because they did it once in the trainee day at one of their monthly evaluation , that when JENNIE & LISA put in the rap lines, but this time they had to do it live without rehearsal.

It's very 😎 seeing someone who clearly knows the song so well reacting 👍 to their added rap part - Jennie and Lisa wrote that part. Jisoo learned her part phonetically, she had very little english at that point - not that you could tell.

She used to wear chanel a lot even before being famous and always loved the brand and i think this is one of the reasons why they chose her cuz she made the clothes even more famous and whenever she wore something from chanel it would sole out.

This is one of my favorite Blackpink covers, it really showcases their vocals and the girls rap skills. I would like to request a reaction. Please react to J-Hope, he's a rapper and Member of BTS that just dropped his solo album and he headlined Lollapalooza. I will link his two MV's and an amazing clip from the Lollapalooza performance.
