@@mickharrison9004 yes it is all pretty disappointing, I get what you say about Yates but we don't know if he wanted to stay or not do we? The disappointing thing for me is we seem to have stopped trying to find some more Jerry Yates type players, Bowler type players, Ellis Simms type players, Dan Ballard type players, Embo type players to BUY. I accepted that the model was/is to find these young stars, develop them, sell them on for profit but you have to keep doing it, if that is the model. We put an offer in for Low the young defender but did we really try? did we up our bid? god knows? Bottom line is if we ain't finding them, buying them, playing them in the team then there won't be any more Jerry Yates or Bowler type players sold and then where will the money come from to keep buying more?

The waters are a lot cooler than they were and like I said we seemed to have abandoned the Jerry Yates model so we won't be selling anyone anymore. There is a danger that many are losing interest and after walking away for 5 years we know it's not that difficult to go and do something more fun on a Saturday

Yes over the past 20 years or so the magic has been sucked out of cup competitions but in reality we know how special winning this cup is. The most disappointing thing for me was all that drama of the Bolton penalty shoot out and how I felt the moment they missed was all for absolutely nothing 💔

It's been a very frustrating season, it's not 100% done yet but it's pretty much 🙁

Probably because all of the cup competitions have been devalued over the years since Premier League teams started putting out weakened teams for the FA Cup and League cup because staying in the PL with all its riches was far more important and sadly that attitude has trickled down the leagues. This was the semi final of the BSM trophy which has become devalued with Premier League U23 sides entering. Personally I think it could work if Scottish Premiership teams were allowed to enter might spruce it up a bit. The problem is when you've got away from playing in this cup by getting promoted into the Championship, there's no interest in it until you get to Wembley which is a shame and it was LIVE on Sky and the problem there is those that haven't been bothered with it either still aren't or they can save some money and watch it on the TV

Great support... Didn't come across on the tv... Looked dead.. And half empty... I personally cannot see a future... How can you have owners like them guys.. The muckers etc... I bet they are a laughing stock in the boardroom... The fans wanted it... For all Oystens faults Lee. He brought u guys great success... OK he lined his pockets allegidly but so do most chairman's... It's really tough for sure, I can't compare Sadler to the Oystons but before the Boycott before the PL even we always felt like a family club, it doesn't feel friendly anymore like I have said before they make me and Jane in particular feel like 'the enemy' which is very sad

@@LeeCharlesTV U know what Lee you are correct... It was a brilliant family club.. I went in the 80s before u starting going to matches, your dad would of been there. It was legit everybody knew each other.. The new wave of social media fans are toxic... My uncle used to play for Blackpool and I have many story's, but they chose to ban me from Avftt rather than gain knowledge. Pretty sad mate... I will make a bold statement.. In 30 years about 40% of these lower league clubs will go bust. Blackpool to survive need progress not massive Regretion.. I come over on Sunday for family meal at Sapporris, and the taxi driver who brought me back to Manchester said the Oystens were sound.. He used to goto party's at the Oystens house. I'm not sure, but it's a mess.. And you and Jane are fantastic, I watch all your uploads, and I read all Janes blogs. Her micro pub crawls are epic.. I prefer a proper pub but each to their own... Maybe come and support United with me. Lol.. You can go on the 13 year wait for a season ticket...

And ps.. After getting absolutly slaughtered on Avftt, I will never ever goto a Blackpool game ever again.. Some ponses from Poulton who think they own part of the club.. Like I say sad.. I live in Didsbury but never ever oust anyone. Just because people may have a few quid, they do not own part of the club.. Let them keep the Armfield bar, the hq of the said brigade... Again very sad as again photographs in that place which hold great memories for myself. Alas I won't see them again as I wouldn't go in there even if the drinks were free...

I was excited about a final but to many fans of *every club not just us it's just a Mickey Mouse cup that nobody is interested in I can keep explaining it but I'm sure you know full well hardly anyone is interested in this cup, the format or anything I think it's sad but it is what it is

You seriously aren't comparing Sunderland to Blackpool surely? We don't have 40K fans. Population of Sunderland 347,000 and how many of those are from Sunderland? Population of Blackpool 141,000 and lord knows how many of those aren't from Blackpool. Sunderland are a huge club compared to us. How many went to the semifinal? We took around 20K to the LDV finals in 2002 and 2004 we were hoping for something similar if we had won this game
