Absolutely tragic how desperate this guy was for trouble & be able to paint Rangers fans in a bad light. Just lots of people mixing & enjoying themselves & the worst thing he can pin on us is some litter.

Great video as always Steve, and many thanks for giving me the opportunity to catch up on my home town, and of course Blackpool fc, looks like a great atmosphere there yesterday, I used to work with many rangers fans in my old job back home. As we both know Glaswegians love our town. Sad to see central drive looking even worse these days, and the Mecca now gone, used to play snooker in there in the commonwealth sport club. I used to go on holiday to Blackpool as a kid and saw them play a couple of pre season friendlies in different years (Man City and Dundee Utd iirc) in the pre modernized ground. Saddened to see the obvious decline of the town with all of these boarded and shuttered shops. Shocking the authorities have allowed this to happen. I hope the town and will start to prosper again soon.

Mecca was also the Locarno. Had not just Northern Soul but also: Sixth Form dances there. Dave Lee Travis. ICI children's parties after the circus. Duane Eddy. It was a smart venue. Stunning foyer. Escalators to upper floors. Proper cloak rooms and ticket collectors. Maybe it was 20 years ahead of its time ..... Nothing like it now.

I couldnt get down, so thanks for sharing - looks like both sets of fans had a good time, and the match was decent for a friendly :) As it is Glasgow Fair, you would normally find stacks of Glaswegians in Blackpool this weekend anyway - the match coincided nicely with it and ensured a good turn out. You should go into the Gallant Pioneer pub sometime, as thats the main Rangers pub in Blackpool.

Honestly from the very start of your video how many times did you mention Rangers fans and the word trouble together I was in Blackpool for another event the same weekend and all the football supporters from both sides seem to be having a good old time and a good old laugh I'm not a rangers supporter but I am sickened by the way some of you automatically think Scottish teams visiting will cause trouble as always both sides will have their few idiots but the majority both sides are there for a good weekend

what annoyed me was the amount of time the commentator kept mentioning the police like he was convinced there was going to be a lot of trouble....i was there and only saw a handleful of police....classic case of profiling...he did not even realise the amount of orange shirts in the away end were rangers fans in the away top....even when he was talking to a couple who clearly showed the club crest on the shirt....come on mate...if ya wanna get ahead in this game....DO YOUR HOMEWORK.....all you yapped on about was how were the police going to handle this....surefire way to turn off potential viewers
