Күн бұрынAs Blackpool Pleasure Beach opens for the 2018 season we make our way to the park and experience some of our favourite rides in the country. We also take a look at the many changes across the park for this season including the construction of ICON along with the site that was previously home to the Wild Mouse. We also share plenty of off ride footage, take a look at the awesome new merchandise for the 2018 season and much more!

Theme Park Worldwide hi i saw on a previous comment you said revolution was one of the more intense coasters at BPB, however i have not been there and was wondering how a singular loop would make it so intense? Thankyou!

RCM - mainly due to the fact it goes backwards over the loop, towards the back of the track it's very intense

The crazy mouse ride was very intense when I went on it with my dad as a kid. The ride starts then 2 sharp turns the up the hill then turns and forward turn and then 🎢😱. It was turny and bumpy 😨

I totally agree about the wild mouse. It was sad to see an historic ride being removed however it was too much to maintain and wasn’t as safe as the other rides on the park. Hopefully they’ll get a newer wild mouse to pay homage to the classic. Great blog and one day hopefully I’ll get to meet the tpw guys. Keep doing what your doing :D

They refurbished it a few years ago so there must of been a reason for it.

I think what Blackpool is missing atm is a strong family steel coaster. I don't think a generic steel wild mouse will do it though.

Cannot wait for Icon. The interaction between the other attractions looks amazing, as does the layout. The Mouse closure does make me sad, but it was a matter of time especially with the way things are currently.

Theme Park Worldwide Majority of it worked perfectly the only downside was that the ice room was warm.... was the same last time I rode it. But apart from that one of the best!

This is just a random prediction. But I think 2-3 years from now, Blackpool will add a new Mack wild mouse in old former's spot. I think it could also be enclosed and bring the space theme coaster back into the park.

But like you said its one of those things and i think the same will happen to big dipper and grand national soon but i would love the see the big dipper have its anniversary before qit does go. I gotta say I am pretty shocked as are a few others I spoke to that you did no video officially announcing the news regarding SW8. It seems bizarre after documenting it for a year and then me having to find out the official details and unique twists of the ride from other sources.

There's nothing to see from outside the park unfortunately. The ride is built and staff training is currently taking place ready for opening

Hey 2018 great for tpww. Wil there be a camera upgrade? That would be amazing if so for amazing detail. I think the channel would benefit from it hugely

Infusion's lake is in the process of being filled, but they are only using a hose so it's taking a long time. :)

Did you notice the turned up Revolution theme song and the inFusion station audio? Also did you notice the new prop on the ghost Train exterior? I really hope they add the ice back in the ice room
