Ey up, Chatter Gang!
Last time we went to an Italian restaurant in BLACKPOOL we were disappointed. So, we asked you to recommend a great one to review. Immediately we received recommendations from several Chatter Gang membersto give TERRA NOSTRA in BISPHAM a shot.
So, one very rainy night at the end of December 2023 we braved the elements - it was absolutely tipping down - and we ventured North to Bispham.
Was it worth the trek (and getting soaked to the skin) or was the Chatter Gang right to suggest that we give TERRA NOSTRA a try?

Enjoyable vid. Been meaning to try this place for an age, looks like I'll have to make the effort now. I have been in the Greek restaurant (opposite and down a bit) which was excellent and also the Bispham Kitchen which did very nice cakes.

Thanks Stephen. From the comments we've received on this video it seems Terra Nostra is like marmite - some people love it and others didn't like it at all. We can only tell it as we find it! 👍🥃🌙

Cheers for recommending, will keep it in mind next time we visit. The Bispham Kitchen and it’s sister restaurant, the Cleveleys Kitchen are worth a visit. Mega portions only remedied by a stroll along the promenade!

Fried lambs liver with fried onions mash potatoes peas and gravy, my mam use to cook that in the 1970s and it was lovely you took me back Colin thank you 🙏 both for this vlog it was really nice 👍 of seeing you both enjoy a nice meal ❤Gina

Hi Gina. Liver in the 70s was like chewing on an old boot, for us, but not as tasty!! We avoid it at all costs nowadays!! 😆🌈💛 xxx

The first time I went to Terra Nostra was the last. A supposedly "pan fried" dish was unmistakably "boiled in the bag". The dessert promised FRESH cream. It arrived with squirty cream and, as the dish had been standing before service, the cream had collapsed into a watery mess. Needless to say it went back. It would seem they have upped their game.

Seriously, we both enjoyed Terra Nostra (Tim liked it more than Colin) and several subscribers recommended it to us. Hi Guys Thanks for reviewing this restaurant, been going to Blackpool for many years and still haven't found an Italian restaurant that has blown me away, used to go to Mamas in Topping street in the 90s and early 2000s then it closed , but its reopened recently and its under a different name , maybe you guys might try it out 😂 I might try Terra Nostra but its expensive, Best wishes David 👍

Hi David. We thought the price at Terra Nostra was reasonable for what they provided. We plan to visit San Marco's on Topping St. However, it seems to be a bit more 🫰 expensive than when it was Mamma's 🇮🇹🍷😁 xxx

@@thechatterguys Hi Guys , Looking at your bill I can see you got wine at £25 that's why it looked expensive, most restaurants wine is expensive 😂 When I go out I try to find Italian restaurants that do a pre theater or meal deal, there is nothing worse than paying a lot of money for a meal and it's not good , looking for forward to your review of San Marco 👍

What wine did you boys have , was it good , I find nowadays you can't get wine below £25 in most decent restaurants, I remember when you could get a decent one for £15-£20

Try Un Momento in St Annes, its only a bus ride down the prom. Best Italian on the coast.

Hi David! We don't just mark a restaurant on the food. We take into account the customer service, ambience and price. Whilst the food was OK, it was the decor and the friendliness of all the staff that knocked his score up to 5⭐ 🤠🫖😆

We haven't, Tim, but someone else has also recommended Bispham Kitchen so we'll definitely pay a visit next time we're in Bispham 😁🍸🩳

I think '' pavarotti '' woud've left the table still hungary with those portions, the transistor radio musak is a no no, and they need to invest in a salad spinner to dry off the veg, i hope you don't mind me moaning.........great vid guys, keep well.

Food is all about opinions. But there is no way that place is a patch on Sapporris.. But like I say food is all about personal choice and enjoyment. Still enjoyed the review. 😊😊😊

You have an outdated impression of Blackpool, Wolverine. Blackpool has many top quality restaurants. We just haven't found an Italian restaurant that we really like yet, but we'll keep in until we've tried them all 🍸🎈🇮🇹
