When I was young, dumb and indestructible, I'd occasionally get the chance to surf waves this size. Don't remember ever being afraid, but that was a long time ago. Now, at age 70, it looks a little intimidating. No one can appreciate the true power, and beauty, of surf like this unless they've experienced it up close and personal.

Yeah, beautiful morning surf just off the Torrey Pines Bluffs which probably smoothed out the wind. A few collapsing sections, but totally rideable waves; like Waikiki Beach, brah! Absolutamente beautiful. Aloha 🌺🤙🏽

What a wonderful choice of music. The sublime serenity of Bach compliments perfectly the majestic elegance of such beautiful waves and man's desire to enjoy but never tame them. My go to choice of music when watching surf videos. Beats the fuck out of that hip hop shit.

I never did like upper angles looking at surfing. Drones, cliffs, peirs, airplanes, etc. They distort the actual wave shape. Standing eye level or lower is more accurate to the phenomena that's actually happening. And drone shots throw everything off, because they are moving around erratically. Sorry, just my opinion.
