Should have washed it first and sprayed with Pam to keep eggs from sticking.

Thanks for the comment.. My wife actually did wash it before the video and slipped the cover back over it before we started.. You are right about the non stick cooking spray. In this first video, I was testing and hoping the spray wouldn't need to be added. I currently use a spray every time now..

What size eggs did you use?

Large eggs..

@@CollinsFamilyAdventures Thanks. I just now got a delivery order from my local Walmart and I got this tray in my order. I thought maybe you had used small or medium eggs because they weren't filling up the rings, but now that I have one in person, the rings look big enough for extra large eggs or two of the small/medium eggs, especially if you want a thicker egg round. I know it can be used for more than just eggs according to the picture and that's why they made the sections so large, but eggs are what I will mostly use it for.

Spray Pam on the edges before you add eggs and it won’t stick.

Sucks. Once it warps, the eggs leak out

Do not use metal utensils on a nonstick surface!!!
@CollinsFamilyAdventures3 жыл бұрын
You're exactly right, that's why I use the brand new Blackstone E-Series tools.. Featured here in this video..
@erink64363 жыл бұрын
My bad. On the first watch, it sounded like metal hitting the plate when you broke the yolks.

Metal spatula ??...... that's a big No No.
@CollinsFamilyAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Indeed metal is Big NO NO. That’s why I use and highly recommend the Blackstone E series utensils as the spatula shown in this video.
@Gtrseller2 жыл бұрын
@@CollinsFamilyAdventures I have that grill, and the recommended spatulas, and they sure don't sound, or look like the spatula that you are using in this particular egg ring video. Sure sounds like metal to my ears.
@CollinsFamilyAdventures2 жыл бұрын
@@Gtrseller Yea. That comment has been made a free times In the comment section with them sounding like metal. At the very end of the video you can see the plastic look of the spatula when the lighting is just right. Funny thing is when doing hibachi, I can’t get my dual ESeries spatulas to sound like anything but plastic. I guess that’s one advantage to metal spatulas and the OG cold rolled steel surfaces.
