It's patently ridiculous that this valve locked up and now I have to replace it. This is the most temperamental piece of equipment I've ever used. 💸💸💸 One star...do not recommend.

I've had mine only a few months, used it maybe 5 times. Fired it up just now and right side flames were orange. After looking around with it going I noticed flames coming out of the backside of the knob. I tried a few things but every time the flames keep coming out of the back of the knob or valve rather so it looks like I need a replacement but these valves knobs in this video don't look the same. Are all the valves the same at least?

I took my whole grill apart and cleaned the burner tubes, and even took apart and stuck a pin in the valve. I'm still experiencing low flame on the right side only, so it's not the regulator. Do I need a new valve on the right side? The seal looks a little worn... The tubes themselves appear fine.

These instructions do not apply to a model 1819 (two knob griddle/charcoal combo.). Can an additional video be posted with those instructions?

This part 2034/ GL21A gas valve is not listed on website BUT I called customer service and got one shipped right out.

I just got the 22" Blackstone Pr0 Model 2606...All installed and assembled. when I put the knobs on, the flat part of the valve was up. so I lined up the knob to match the flat side. Now all of the markings on the knob are backwards...Instead of having the red stripe to the zero, or light area, it is pointing downwards. At first I thought maybe the actual valve was put on upside down, but if I turned it around then it wont match the holes on the black rod that they rest on...any ideas?? I also tried taking out the center of the knob, but they must be glued in and don't move.

Where can I find this replacement valve? We were converting to natural gas and one of the orifices broke off inside the valve (other 3 went fine). 😢

I had the same issue for a brand new grill and they are sending me a new value to replace the one that broke off.

Thanks for the response! I reached out to Blackstone and they did offer a one time replacement valve which I thought was awesome customer service! I’m so relieved I thought we were out of luck!!

@@tylerbacon2016 I emailed Blackstone and they offered to send a one time replacement valve free of charge!!! When I switched them out the second time it was like I was performing open heart surgery I was so nervous but it worked and it has been AWESOME for us!! I’m sure they will replace it for you!!

Great job, I'm worried about mine on my 36" I was thinking of replacing them with cast iron ones. Please make them cast iron.

I want to upgrade all and still keep originals. They work but the actual burners don't seem sturdy enough. I'm glad they have the replacements

@@ALLBOUTTHUGLIFE The cast iron burners rust and are extremely heavy for shipping. The stainless tubes last forever.

@@venessapixton2314 I seen, but these stainless steel ones look like they overheat and will eventually crack like on my old BBQ grills.

@@ALLBOUTTHUGLIFE Never heard of that happening once in the six years I have worked for Blackstone. All stainless burners have a 5 year warranty and we never have to replace them.

Some customers have dropped their unit, or have changed the orifice to natural gas inside the valves and need instruction on how to remove and replace. Or in the event it is not functioning over time, if it has cracked or whatever the case may be.

@@venessapixton2314 I have a question. I have a newer Blackstone and one of the four burners stays on low flame no matter the position of the valve. Is this probably just a bad valve or has other customers experienced this? Thanks (saw you worked for Blackstone in another comment)

@@AcuraMDXTypeS burners are good. I fixed it by changing that particular gas valve. The old ones orifice wasn't manufactured correctly. Thanks for the info though

@@kevinhannan9152 I never found them. I ended up taking the whole thing back to Ace Hardware and getting a new one. Haha. I was blessed they understood what happened and allowed me to do it and they used the return as a display

I must say that I found that there was no problem with the Blackstone griddle. It turned out to be a problem with the hose between the tank and griddle. I will keep a spare one from now on!

This company provides awful customer support for inferior products. I gave mine away after the left side stopped working in less than a year and after emailing the company with detailed photos and a description of the item and product it is for. They finally responded weeks later asking for more information. I said I have given you everything about the griddle I can't give any more information. Needless to say, I still have a couple of sore spots on my head from banging it against a Blackstone wall.

I agree, even here in Canada customer service is non-existant, called once, I missed the call, and they have disappeared off the face of the earth, I will never buy another Blackstone product again!
