I think you only take 1 point of damage if you ground pound. Its jarring to take damage but ultimately not damaging enough to matter much.

@@Celticjamz ah I can imagine that complicates it. I'm of no help, then. Maybe the dive kick might be more your route if you want something similar. I don't think you take damage from that drop.
