In this video I take a look at blade maid. Blade maid is a ceiling fan cleaner. The Blade maid is a two-sided microfiber head that wraps around a fan Blade less than 7 3/8 inch thick. The microfiber cloth traps in the dirt until you are ready to clean it off. Let's see if this actually works!

I saw an ad for this on TV and looked it up on KZfaq and found this review. I initially passed on it due to its steep price of $40, but this review claims to have found it for $25. I happened to be in Walmart a day or so later and saw it in the "As Seen On TV" shelves for $25 and grabbed it. I've got six ceiling fans in the house and usually takes a step ladder, a bucket of water, a stack of rags and about an hour to clean 24 blades - plus vacuuming the mess afterwards. Fifteen minutes after I took it out of the box, I was done. This thing cleans the top, bottom and sides of the blades with one sweep. It's surprising thorough. Even the dustiest blades were clean after just one sweep. It did drop some dust as I passed over the blade attaching screws, but the microfibers had turned the dust into hard clumps which are very easy to pick up. No vacuuming required. BladeMaid is worth every penny, in my book.

Mine is out for delivery today, but my fan blades are waaaaaaaay dirtier than yours. We will see! Update: We just got done cleaning 3 ceiling fans, all of which were filthy. It didn't make them look like new, but they are very much cleaner than they were, and I call that a win!

I sure could use this. I don't use my fans for fear of dust being thrown everywhere....I just can't reach the top to clean the blades. I saw these somewhere but they cost way more than 25 bucks. If I can find them for that 25.00 price I'll be buying it..I was also worried abt dust falling down as I'm cleaning the blades but good to know the clothes keep the dust from falling.... Oh my gosh I wish I had this a couple days ago when I cleaned my ceiling fan. I really like that the dust gets trapped instead of falling everywhere. Good product. 💕

According to Amazon this product is frequently returned. Too bad because I have 13 ceiling fans to clean in a laundromat. 😥

I bought the Blade Maid exclusively for my ceiling fans. Was disappointed because wasn’t adjustable for cleaning Blades that were wider than standard width. Would not recommend because of that over site.

I had the same problem I tried the other side of the blade and it worked on all 5 ceiling fans. Hope this helps you.

I have a ceiling fan with 10" blades. So won't work for me. If it did I would but right away.
