Currently wearing my Deep Blue while watching this vid, I hope Heimdallr release some of the very limited monsters of the past. I'm tempted to get the blue bezel/gold/ SS monster they're about to release fairly soon.

I like this model, and I want to see a titanium version in the near future, and the sharp points the guy mention, I think those make the watch looking better, the ring pip is a must they need to change, great review

I've had messages yesterday that either change colour or cancel order and wait till late December Jan 2021 So after watching your review I went with the Orange👍 if anybody looking at the Red and Blue (believe they are on backorder as well) might be early 2021 for next batch

Amazingly beautiful watch! The shark logo really fits the watch as well, as some brands have an ugly logo which spoils the rest of the watch. This one is perfect. The watch you get for the money seems like a really good deal! Gonna pull the trigger on the orange one in 2 days when it will be on sale :) Will update when I get it!

Good review heimdallr made good watches .heimdallr used the the name of brands on front of watch instead of fish . And sign the crown with fish . And introduced v2 of marine master with 40.5mm and 47 lug to kid with good braclets .and used all the watches with brands name and also option of two movement mayota 9015and nh35 thank haiemdallr .wish you good luck.your company. and also impress me no dust particular in your watches .

Really seems abit silly paying extortionate prices for the seiko when the heimdallr is so good. Makes it another 'no brainer' imo. Also mate, your videos are getting better and better! Well done and keep it up

Received mine yesterday,the Orange variation, I'm not keen on metal straps & even though this is a good one I've swapped for the rubber dive strap that also came with it & it looks badass tbh! The line is like a light being switched on,went out to the bins earlier for 2 mins came back in & it was ON!

Fantastic thorough review!..... I've got an orange on order.... should be here in a few weeks.... I've owned 2 gen 2 and 2 gen 3 Seiko Monsters.....this will be my first orange dialed variant....I'm excited and curious to see if it will scratch the Itch.

On some of the Aliexpress shop sites you get the option to get a watch with the lume pip on the bezel or without. Think I'm going to get the red one as it's a colour Seiko never did.

Got my Heimdallr Orange Monster in the house. The bracelet is just as good as the Miltat from Strapcode. The bracelet feels smooth and soft. Really nice to have it on my wrist. The watch is amazing good. Actually for 135 euro it's a steal!! The NH36a from Seiko is excellent and is 5 seconds ahead per day. I'm very happy with the watch and I put it in the same box with the other Seiko's I own. It is that good.

Great review, loving the macro shots. Got to agree with the bracelet, would say on par with the Seiko if not better. Has a nice weighty feel that hugs the wrist but not overbearing. Also found it easier to size than the seiko (keep losing those baby collars). Got a cheapy watch kit from Amazon, run-of-the-mill, push pins out with the screw press, relocate using the 0.8mm and 1.0mm pin punches. Managed to pop the bezel off to see what was underneath the lume pip, no hole, no boss, nice thick chunky 316L lip underneath. No reason the pip can't be recessed for future versions considering the pip height only measures 0.8mm. Nice work, look forward to the comparison.

I just bought one of these Heimdallr Monsters on eBay (in red) and I cannot wait for it to be delivered. So far, the Chinese knockoffs of the Seiko have been pretty well rendered. I appreciate your review. Your channel is very good. Do you do any modding? If so, I might suggest to increase your fan base by doing some on camera mods.

I purchased the Sea Knight version. I believe it is the same company and the same watch. It has a slightly darker dial and a slightly reddish shade of orange. Same sharp points near the bezel. I wonder if I could remove the bezel and sand down the sharp corners with fine sandpaper or a diamond file and put the bezel back properly. The Heimdallr has a nice logo, the orange looks closer to the original Seiko, but the Sea Knight was $90 shipped.

You should do a video on how to size the bracelet on this watch. As I pull the plastic off and can’t figure out which way to push the pins out of this thing it is driving me insane. 🤪

Oh one thing I didn't mention: even though I love Heimdallr their QC is "iffy". I own the bronze tuna can but the first one I got died within 24hrs: the hour hand got stuck somehow.. so that cost me sending it back and paying twice for tax & VAT... They never compensated me for those extra costs So that sucked... Also my green 'Hulk' MM300 Heimdallr (SBDX001) died after a week too. This time the minute hand came loose and flopped around. I am still waiting on the repair/replacement and again it cost me extra money to send it back. Remember: Heimdallr is literally 4(!!) people... So QC is 4 people too.. if your watch is fine, be happy just be aware there are possible downsides. Having said that: this monster is my 4th Heimdallr as I also own a "Willard" 6105 and at least that one works great...

Please what watch would you guys recommend for a starter . I have couple of smartwatches and g shocks but I recently got into mechanical watches and SS really dig them but very confused for which one should be my first pick and which brand ! each time im into model last month was the mm300 homage recently I'm into the 62mas the turtle as well Please help !!

Good review! The side view shows that the cutouts on the bezel don't line up with the case cutouts. Way off! I'm surprised you didn't mention this as it's quite obvious. Good beater for sure.

I've got an Idea.. Since its a seiko movement, and everything else is made of the same materials and even better(like the sapphire), maybe I should just buy a Seiko monster dial, replace the dials and ill have myself a cheap alternative to the original that actually is like the original 😅

I'm holding out for the yellow Dial 👀😁 My SRPA05J1 & GEN 4 will have to suffice for now 🥂

Changing out the links in the bracelet is a huge pain in the butt. Otherwise I like the watch.

Couple of things after your review. First: I own the red version and I own a gen4 monster (SRPD29 aka Black Monster). I said this in your unboxing, but this feels more like a modded Seiko monster than a homage. In fact Heimdallr took everything bad from the Seiko monster (cheap folded clasp, hardlex crystal) and improved it: milled clasp (yes thanks!) and sapphire 👏👐. Now regarding the bracelet: you omitted the one thing that I hate with a passion on any bracelet: it's a f****** pin and collar! Why? Now having said that: my Seiko Black monster has that too and no matter how you spin it: it's a f****** nightmare! Those things absolutely suck and they should be banned like chemical and biological weapons are banned: period. 🤬 However: the system Heimdallr uses is better than the Seiko because the collar is at least 3x bigger and relatively easier to handle. Still it's about the the difference between a bullet in the head or the groin. You can survive both but your chances are only between slim to none... Can not believe you did not bring that up? Then your comment about sharp edges: what the hell are you talking about? Mine has no sharp edges whatsoever? Your free watch probably was a prototype. You know what the only sharp bit on this watch is and does annoys the s*** out of me? The lume pip! That sucker sticks out like a f****** splinter and I am contemplating drilling it out with a dremel tool! 🤬 If you put a real monster in my hand and a Heimdallr and I was blindfolded that detail would literally be the thing where you can tell the difference between them. Other than that: if you want a monster but don't want to pay for one: get this Heimdallr it's 🔥🔥🔥

Chinese makes better Seiko than the japanese. I have been impressed with these homages lately and disappointed at Seiko and their ridiculous price increase.

ISO Certified as a true Diver ?? Great Homage, but it shouldn't have "Divers" on the dial unless certified !! Sorry, just me being picky...... I know no one's probably gonna actually use it for Diving !!? Great Review of a homage, of a true classic !!

Though I recognize it's value and appeal for some people (being a homage to the legendary Monster and all), but for me this is an exceptionally ugly watch. I lean more on the side of Tuna and the Turtle. Good review, still
