I enjoy running zerker gear on the right side and divine on the left (trinkets etc). Just so I can provide longer lasting buffs to my team. I think it does hurt my dps a little bit, but it shouldn't be too noticeable.

What're your thoughts on the elite banner for swing plays in PVP? Obviously you lose out on a lot of skill recharge, but nabbing a clutch stomp or res (or in lucky cases, 2+) feels pretty good.

Two real annoying things in Pvp is DS3 acts like some weird super long range melee attack and will always miss if there is some hight difference between you and the target, and that artillery shell's projectile speed is so slow its hard to hit sometimes.

Would Axe axe be any good instead of axe pistol? Also, thanks for the build vid. Personally, i like the slower playstyle of Bladesworn(vaguely reminds of Guts from Berserk for some reason or Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima) but this video helps show an alternative for people who want something a bit faster.

I wanted to see the end stats of that PvP match. Holy! No way you didn't get at least 20 kills and like 40% of your team's dmg. Great gameplay.

i do remember i had 38% of the teams damage in that match, but i cut it out since the end was kind of anticlimactic waiting for timer to run out

Long time warrior main, struggle to have any fun playing this spec. Picked up Renegade after they removed core bursts from zerker and pretty much became my new main. Really would like zerker to make a comeback, particularly condi with core bursts.

Gonna keep showing up and asking... do you have, or would you be interested in documenting/breaking down your theorycrafting process, how you add/subtract things for the final cut? Id definitely love to watch that video.

i have a video showing a general idea of how i theorycraft its something like "how to theorycraft" but it stays in generalities, essentially i think of it from the perspective of a problem, "I want to play bladesworn in WvW" then i start with some cards that i already know work well, like shouts on bladesworn, and i test them out and see which work, then i build a full deck and test that out. Essentially I have a lot of ideas of potential synergies and try to put them in case that allows them to work.

theres a number in the skill art, each skill has its own individual ammo.

It's an account-bound crafted one made by any of the weapon crafting skills (artificer, huntsman, weaponsmith), requires level 400 which is pretty simple and relatively cheap to get to. The recipe for it is 2 copper on the trading post. I'd recommend leveling at least one of those 3 up to 400, or 500 if you want to go all the way, even just to have them since many legendaries require stuff crafted by them anyway.

it can be if you try to rush in and do what other people want you to do, but its super chill if you take your time and do things that you want to do, and that is exactly what many people do. Ignore social media if it makes you think you need to do what everyone else is doing

@@aka-stavy3926 my guy. ive been playing for a month now. its overwhelming for me too. but what i did was focusing on main story, do a little bit of world boss fight and i end up learning more than expected. Plus dont be afraid to ask something on the chat. the community is very helping so far!

@@Vallun This feels like the ele mains and their cries about catalyst being the worst class in the game. Meanwhile fire attunement on hammer can two shot people in a matter of 1.2 sec.

Bladesworn is not a warrior. Warriors are supposed to be the masters of weapons. Losing weapon swap for some gimmick steampunk thing is insulting. Gunsaber should probably be for engineers. Warrior class is dying, starting from 2020 "balance". With each and every patch we got nerfed more and more. Last update was the final nail in the coffin. Enough ranting. Thanks for your hard work Vallun. Your speallbreaker build for all game modes is great and I used it until last patch. I need to take a break and give ANet a chance to rethink warriors. This will be the last time. I'm tired of waiting.

The problem with badesworn is that the build that is best for teamfights is also the best for all other roles too because of how well shouts work for it. Also, the gunsaber abilities can be used while retreating and have insane damage so there is almost no range or situation in which BS is not a threat. Also, Dragon Slash Boost is bugged and hits you even if you dodge most of the time. Skuffed. Also there is no real trait choice for PvP. The list goes on. Bladesworn is a mess and only viable through janky un-intuitive attacks and insane damage. Oh and also because anet wants every warrior ever to take Shake it Off because it's strictly the best stunbreak in the kit even if it DIDN'T affect allies. Pathetic.

Dragon slash boost will often hit if you dodge backward because you're moving with the ability and will still be in range when you stop evading. This is even more pronounced going uphill. If you dodge forward or to the side, you'll have a much more forgiving dodge window.

This is much weaker than the build I'm running. And I only have exotic gear.

The difference in performance between exotic and ascended/legendary gear is less than the difference you'd have if you miss an ability in your rotation. This build isn't designed to be absolute top dps. It's designed to have good dps, good survivability, and be relatively simple to play.
