If anyone asked them that, they'd be horrible for asking. Pitting father figures against each other is incredibly harmful for kids, and implies it's a competition. That loving the stepdad is an act against the bio dad. It isn't. The love for one doesn't take anything away from the other.

@ashley1994 I can't imagine that Gwen "is broke". He ex husband pays child support for three children plus she is a hugely successful singer with numerous hits plus she still does concerts. She has a clothing line and has begun a makeup line. She and he seem to be giving a lot of attention to the kids and having fun. Biological dad stayed on the phone at one of his children's soccer games.......umm? I really hope they have a wonderful and long marriage!

Not according to Blake. He’s the only one that has to be happy about his life choices. In his anniversary post to Gwen he said it was the best year of his life. I know if I had to choose between a heavy drinking, unfaithful, self-centered and career focused at the expense of everything else wife who wouldn’t even live in the same house with me or a faithful, loyal, successful, kind, family oriented woman who valued me and my companionship and friendship over her career which one I’d choose.

Everything you just quoted proved Blake and Miranda weren’t right for one another and valued their careers over their marriage. I agree with what you said about actions over words and time will tell. That’s true of all of us. Blake has definitely put more effort into his relationship with Gwen. He’s built them a joint home, he built her a chapel on his ranch, he’s been willing to live in LA half the time even though he doesn’t like LA, he’s been a father figure to her sons and has attended all of their school and sporting events, he bought a plane so he can spend as much time as possible with Gwen and the boys, he flies home immediately after concerts, he doesn’t make lewd comments anymore, he attends church with Gwen, he’s made every effort to work on joint projects together as much as possible, he’s bonded with her extended family, even though he doesn’t like writing songs he’s written songs to for and about her, even though he hates music videos he’s made 4 with her, he’s said in recent interviews that he’s cutting back on career obligations because Gwen and the boys are his priority now, etc etc Blake has put his money where his mouth is so far. Miranda has also gotten someone better suited to her and making a marriage with her work. Brendan’s job is being Miranda’s husband so she can still focus full steam on her career, and he can spend a lot of time with her. Blake and Miranda’s marriage fell apart and ended 7 years ago. It’s been dissected to death. Bottom line is it failed because neither one made sure it didn’t.

I don’t know what work she’s had done, but she has a high profile career in the public eye. I’m sure a lot of actors/actresses, singers, celebrities, newscasters and media people use some sort of “maintenance” since they are on tv and film. It’s easier for us regular folks to “age gracefully”. That being said, plenty of my neighbors here in Texas use Botox, fillers etc. It’s become mainstream now. I can’t afford it, so I look rightfully 59 years old.

There are plenty of paparazzi photos of Gwen with her sons at their ball games. She also shares photos and videos of them when the whole gang is together at her and Blake’s home in Oklahoma. Apollo, the youngest, knows Gavin is his dad because Gavin has shared custody. It’s just that Blake and Apollo have a special bond because Blake has been in his life since he was 18 months old. He’s 8 and hasn’t used one in 4-5 years. Some of those are old photos.

He could if he really wanted it. Even if he couldn’t have kids, they could adopt or use a sperm donor. He had 2 ex wives and 20 years to have kids if it was a priority. He fell in love with an older woman with kids and chose to be with her. He could’ve been with someone younger if having kids was a priority. They have the $ and the means to have kids. Apparently he has decided that the stepsons are enough for him. Gwen always wanted a little girl. If that’s what Blake wanted she would give him that. They have probably decided it wouldn’t be fair to a child to have one at their ages. Blake is 47 now. That’s not ideal either. I know because my husband was 49, 50 when our kids were born. We’ve been blessed but it isn’t ideal. I think they are thankful for what they do have and look forward to rocking grand babies on the porch in Oklahoma.
