i think while he's recovering from knee injury, he gets an opportunity to improve his mid range and 3 points so he wouldn't rely on his vertical much causing him injury again. tbh its like DRose mentality

@Galactic I would do the same, he carried that franchise back in the 18-19 season, had an all star season (his best season ever) and he didn’t achieve anything other than getting swept by the Bucks. He just wants an easy chip and retire

It’s probably that on the pistons he was the best player in that team and he couldn’t risk himself. Now in Brooklyn he has 3 superstars so he’s not as needed and with that he can start risking again.

getting fed more here. he can't create for himself the way he did, so the nets team is affording him the opportunities he probably wasn't getting at Detroit. seems that way anyway. nets have amazing playmaking. really it's the perfect team for him I think.

Detroit didn't add key pieces. Clippers trading him was the ultimate backstab in history. Not only that, he improved his game after his injury and took them to the playoffs. But when the second-best player on your team is Drummond, and even he left for another team, I don't blame him for one second.

Y’all saying how he wasn’t doing dunks for pistons but forget how he carried in 2019. It’s easy to see how injuries have ruined him. He’s nowhere as athletic as he used to be and seems to be way slower. I’m just happy he’s still able to be a decent role player.
