This is one of the best “interviews” I have seen. So humble and articulate and grateful and she has a spectacular memory for the details and seems so incredibly genuine when name dropping people. You can tell she understands her privileges but also truly appreciates all of these experiences and doesn’t take it for granted, nor act holier than thou. I also ADORE how playful and silly she is! Such a brilliant woman. I have always been a fan but I am definitely going to watch other stuff she has done just to be swept away with her beautiful narrations and storytelling. She clearly loves her family and fashion! Wanting it for her mom is just so charming and sweet too. Wow. Truly blown away by this woman.

I worked in a fashion house in NY, one day she came in for a fitting. As usual we were just minding our business and “not cool” to interact with celebrities.. when she left, she did say bye and thank you to everyone in the team. Her energy was genuine and sweet.. that’s my impression of her

Can we talk about the outfit she is wearing now? I love complementary colors, but this is a step further with orange, then coral with turquoise. Blake was dating another one of the main characters on the show, many of the actors didn't get along and while they owe their careers to gossip girl, it can be difficult to talk about such a toxic stage of their life yk.

I feel like she really cares to reflect on it all. I also love how she doesn’t cringe at past looks because that’s what was in at the time. She’s so comfortable with herself and so mature. It’s almost incredible in the age of social media.

I loved how involved she is with the design of her most iconic dresses down to the accessories. She has an amazing stylist but she also deserves so much credit for her creativity and taste. I can't get enough of Blake, and how despite how glamorous she looks, she still has an amazing sense of humour and isn't afraid to not take herself too seriously. She truly is a role model!

She is stunning inside and out. The way that she talks on each dress wish such a passion, vivid recollection of moments and events of her past moments, it's breathtaking to hear her. And yet she is so humble and nice and you can see the passion in her eyes when she is talking about fashion and special people in fashion. And yes, the last dress she wore at Met Gala was the epitomy of New York embedded in her. Stunning as I said!

Her "Heavenly Bodies", Met Gala look, is still one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen, fashion or otherwise, so I was glad to hear it's her favorite as well. Really loved her dress this year too, but to me, it definitely seemed to photograph more pink/rose than copper. Still stunning, I mean she's the epitome of, "Would look good in a burlap sack", but felt it took away a little bit of its overall effect!?!? Truly a beautiful woman, inside and out!!!!

Her talking in such a loving way about The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants means so much to me as I really enjoyed the books as a teenager. Also her saying how fashion in Gossip Girl was so much more important than the characters and storytelling - just so true and I love that she's not pretending the show was something else.

With all due respect, that comment about GG is utter nonsense. While yes, the fashion transcended everything else in the end, the writing/storytelling was solid for at least 3 seasons (that’s as far as I’ve gotten in my rewatch). It’s easy to dismiss the show as shallow and brainless, but that’s not what it is at all.

I didn't get her until "A Simple Favor". Those mens-wear suits looked *incredible* on her. I jokingly called it Butch Barbie. Blake should play villains more often, IMO. With her looking the way she does, it brings a subversive edge to her playing a bad guy.
