You are correct. I think they said she lost 61 pounds, but they included the baby weight as part of that number. I'm not sure why people don't subtract the baby weight from the weight she is after giving birth. That's Hollywood for you, sad.

Innocent Brat or maybe she did. Everyone carries their weight differently so maybe she didn’t look like she gained that much

some carry the extra weight well - she was fuller in her face and more voluptuous. So she's lucky she carried it well

I'm 5'10 too, and about 60 pounds heavier than her and I'm about 6 sizes larger than her so it makes no sense. It's highly unlikely she was 60 pounds heavier.

Blake looks tired or unhappy, not sure which one but she doesn’t have that spark like she usually does in this interview. I hope it’s just lack of sleep which is an easy fix and not something more serious causing her to be unhappy

I know shes 6 ft tall but gaining that much weight is nuts. She had one 7 lb. baby - not twins. I gained 40 lbs and lost 28 the first week. The magic of breastfeeding. My doc said "if you don't gain it, you won't have to lose it". I gained a lot less with my 2nd but he weighed more - almost 10 pounds. Go figure.

Marlynne K some people’s body’s just react differently to pregnancy. I’m 5’7 and gained 60-70lbs with each of my 3 children and lost all the weight after. Sadly breastfeeeding is not a magical way to lose weight for all woman. I don’t lose any weight from breastfeeding, it actually makes it harder to lose weight during breastfeeding. A lot of woman won’t lose all of their weight until they wean the baby. Just like every baby is different so is every mom. Just because you lost over half your weight at 1 week doesn’t mean every mom should or will. I lost only 20 lbs by the time of my 6 week check up. I’m 13 month pp and still have 15lbs to go. I don’t expect to fully lose it all until about this time next year as I breastfeed till 2. Blake’s weight gain may not be ideal according to doctor recommendations but it is completely normal. I believe it has more to do with genetics than anything. I didn’t change the way I eat at all, probably ate a little less and still manage to gain 60 🤷🏼‍♀️
