That's awesome brother! This specific video/version of this has hundreds of views just from me alone.. absolutely cram packed full of emotion and incredible technique. I really dig your drums to it, but if I may give some constructive criticism, I'd leave it more open during verses, especially the first couple of verses. I.e. don't feel the need to complete the beat, like only hitting the snare every other time, instead of the more standard way you play it. If that makes sense. I don't know the technical language for drums, or much else for that matter, but I've been playing guitar and writing since I was 9, and been in and out of some really cool bands over the years, in which I was fortunate enough to experiment with all the major instruments and can now play them all "fluently". Not to say I know anything more than you or anything like that. I think your drum track is incredibly tasteful and spot on. Just as an outside listening ear, I'd leave those verse sections more open. You might even try a track with no snare at all.. but throwing it in every other time I think will make it more delicious. And of course overall, well done sir!
