I wish a different genre would win once in awhile but America prefers country. Can't control what they like and vote for. Last year on idol a country singer won too. There are many singers that did not go far on idol that are huge stars. Lauren Daigle won a grammy. Yeah, I liked Clay and was sad he lost.

You mean your definition of BEST? Best voice is subjective. Your best voice is not others best voice. There is no rules in music. In life everything is about supply and demand. Your best voice has fewer demands.

@@cy4330 Sure, you are almost right on what respect to be the "best voice", and it is obvious that people have different perceptions of what could be the best voice, but that is what a lay subject would say, and I acknowledge that it is at the heart of programs like "The voice". For the musically trained though, it has a determined meaning, dealing with registry, tone, etc. In terms of "best singer" oh that is less subjective, that's why there is a significant difference between Kanye and Freddie Mercury singing Galileo. But something you're wrong is about supply and demand being everything in life. There are a lot of influences that determine demand like, for example, marketing. But that is a different issue. Whatever the truth is it will be the life that will determine what happens from now on, and I really couldn't care less about that, anyway I won't be buying his records, maybe you'll buy them. it is obviously your choice. And I came back, because of your mention of "demand" I forgot to tell you that NONE of the Blake 8 former winners has achieved anything important after leaving the show. In fact, many of them have shifted genres, changed their name, or just flat-out gone missing like Kohanski, Sundance Head, and others. It seems like your definition of "demand" ends just as the show ends.

There were at 3 stronger singers that this guy. It's all in the fan base number. This trend has been going on several seasons. Just look at the music genre of the final 4 vs those voted out last week. Crazy! Well NBC, looks like the show will be losing another viewer. Bye!

I loved Omar. However, in the finale, I felt his performance was better than his vocals. I am not worried about Omar; he’ll be fine.

Omar had the most range,Bodie was the more talented as far as vocal ability and creativeness.

I wish another genre would win once in awhile. But look at Adam Lambert and Jennifer Hudson, Hudson was 7th. You don't need to win to be successful. It's a great platform to be seen. I watch for fun and my favorites always lose, ha ha.

I think country and western fans watch just the finale and vote heavily for what they consider the best country &western act! Not very fair for the people who watch and vote during throughout the season.Bodie was the winner for me from his first blind audition.His duet with Blake was better than the Leatherwood duet.Really, he needs to project more personality and individuality if he wants to make it a successful professional career!

He sounds just like all the country singers now who fake that sound.

Who robbed him? Is it the lack of fans or the lack of votes? If there's enough fans to vote for Omar, then these fans failed him for not voting. And if it is the lack of fans, it means he was not able to convince others to vote for him. It is not the viewers fault. It is incumbent upon him as a contestant and a performer to convince non fans. Omar's style is pretty much the norm in my country. So, he does not appeal to viewers like myself. There is no doubt that Omar is a great singer, but the others are also great in their respective genre. Omar was not robbed.
